Personally... I can think of several games.

1. World of Warcraft
Yes, I may hate the game personally--didn't stop me from playing it, though. The RP servers, when you get a decent group going, are just... And then the random RPers who are scattered around in non-RP and the RP servers... Man, it helped a lot to immerse me into the game.

2. Mabinogi
I know, several people are going to go: "WHA?" But, hear me out. Mab has a TON of skills available--I haven't even found all of them, yet--and they can each be leveled up to a certain level...
'Sides that, and the tons of player-run shops, I'd say... Search around. There ARE roleplayers ingame--I've seen a handful on Mari, and even have had some enjoyable moments dungeoncrawling with a group. However, I wouldn't try this one first; finding the RPers isn't easy, at least for me, it isn't.

3. Neverwinter Nights
There are still hundreds of roleplaying servers whose purpose is to immerse the player into the world, and to make them feel as though they are a part of the world; that every action they do has a purpose.
(Oh, also, nice try trying to promote your own server, korn.)

That's the majority that I'm able to think of, at this specific moment in time. If I think of any others, I'll give ya a heads-up, and update my post.
