I don't know about certain final fantasy games but I do know that in kingdom hearts one, two and the one that makes you use cards have many of the final fantasy charecters and that it changes some of their personalities from their original games. Also i have found that some of the originals have defects in their programs. and just warning you. some times the final fantasy downloads for the pc versions are not really the ones you want. I know this because i have spent thousands of dollars on thing i didnt want.

just saying ... BECAREFUL!!!!

Uhm, you do know that ffxi is an mmorpg right? not a standard final fantasy game?

And pc is the best platform to get it on imo.
