Hey, I've played a lot of MMORPGs and RO sounds like a fun game to play. Im currently downloading it, and I currently have some questions:

-What server do most of you guys play on?

-Is there anything I should know before I start, maybe some tips?

-Is there any class I should stay away from, like that costs more money or harder to play as a noob? If so what should I start out as.

-And last can I join anyones guild to help me get started?

Hi,
First of all let me Welcome you to the Ragnarok family of Extreme Gamers

Secondly about your Questions:
--> Many of us play in Valkyrie Server [iRO]
--> None of the classes/jobs costs money[Zeny] and yes Job Change costs Items, Exp and some Zeny though

--> You can go with Thief as a basic though, as its easy to play, but you will start as a novice then change class at job lvl9. Untill you atleast get hands on it i suggest not to go for other class [No- for Acolyte till you get hands on mage].
--> No-Sorry, practically no-one will recruit you the guild untill you atleast 2 Job [Assassin/Rouge].

I hope i made it clear to you.

Wrong, Archer is the cheapest and easiest class too play, Also it's jlvl 10 not 9.

If you are new to the game and making an archer, going Hunter as your second job class will be the easiest and cheapest (in two ways =P). All you have to do is place an ankle snare and any monster will be frozen in place for about 30 secs (I think 30 secs is right).

However, since you are new to the game, you may also benefit from meeting new people, in which case you may want to choose Bard (or Dancer), as they are usually more group-oriented classes and will help you make friends. Hunters tend to be solo characters.

The choice is yours, it depends on your playing style; if you like to solo - go Hunter, if you like to party with other players - go Bard (or Dancer).

If you need money, be sure to have a Merchant character as an alt to take advantage of it's discount and overcharge skills. But i'm not really going to get into making money, if you need help making money you can just go to www.Guiderz.com for some tips.
