Could someone check how many mesh paks he has?
Go to your aion map, then levels, then common.
I'm at mesh pak 67. How many to go, updating 2 hours now.

I have downloaded the client via the torrent on the main website, however, everything turns out to be korean.

Is this how it is supposed to be, or is it supposed to be Chinese?

I am able to login and create a char and everything, just that the interface and NPC dialogues etc. are all in korean.

I had problems installing...at the end of the install it said something about the 300ish mb .zip file. Turns out nothing in the zip extracted, but the game did install. I have the launcher .exe and it is manually downloading everything that was included in the zip file....which is taking awhile. I think this might be the problem you guys are having if you've been patching for over an hour.
Dont really know how to fix it though...I downloaded the zip file 3 times and none worked
If they would give us the password to the zip so I could manually extract them then it would be a lot easier
