There is also Gamebryo (gamebryo.com), I think they have a $5000 indie license I heard about over at mmorpgmaker.com

Yes, when i posted this topic i already was in contact with gamebryo and i have a 30 day trial from Gamebryo now. I think we gonna use Gamebryo. maybe HeroEngine but weŽll see

I agree with bigworld or hero engine. both seem very expensive, but extremely well put together.
A Programmer friend of mine and I have been toying around with trying to make one ourselves, but I have been struggling with lack of resources, and a good inexpensive engine or creation suite. Most of the inexpensive engines require quite a bit of modification to make them efficient as a real MMORPG. mostly the maximum connections, and the server load handling.
If you get this going let me know, I think its great that more people are making MMOs of all sorts, I hope yours will be a free2play model.
