The Betting Group

The old town house set on the far side of town. Everyone talked about how the poor girl fell through the floor boards into the basement, but her body was never found. Many kids made stories to scare younger ones, some even lied saying they went in there at midnight. The truth was no one had been in that house since the investigation of the missing girl was "solved." One weekend a group of kids formed "The Betting Group." The group's main purpose was to create dares and bets that members of the group would do to receive money or prizes. A group of kids decided that they wanted to join the betting group, the groups members told them if they could prove themselves by spending the night in the old town house that they could join, of course they said yes. No one knew the horrible mistake they had just made, soon they will find out the monster that has the girl's body that fell down in to the basement.

Bio: Amaya is new to the small close knit town and feels she needs to join the beting group to fit in. Amaya moved away from new york to this small town and is finding it difficult to find friends. She grew up in NYC so the change to a small town is making her open up a little and speak her feelings more and more.

Amaya sat on the old brick steps to the creepy building. She wrapped her arms around her knees trying to stay warm, for some reason it was very cold out this night. I knew I should have brought my jacket.. Amaya seethed under her breathe.Amaya had no clue if she was going to be the only person that actully showed up, she knew the story, but she didn't care. She saw someone move inside the window so she stood and walked toward the door. "Hello?" She called waiting for an answer.

To her, life in the town was so boring and offered little interest to her. However, Mia never thought of joining a group like The Betting Group because she figured they were just a hox. Bio: Axel's family was never in a place for more than 3 years. They would always move to a new job. His parents moved into the town a year ago promising to stay. He decided to go into the Betting Group to earn a little money.

Amaya slightly jumped as someone yelled boo right in her ear. Amaya quickly turned around and rubbed her ear. "I'm so scared can't you tell?" Amaya said sarcastically. She turned back to the house and peeked through the window. The house was covered in darkness, but she swore she could see someone walking down the steps into the basement. John sighed, "So, are you looking to join this stupid betting group too?" he asked. He was still nervous about the stories they used to tell about this place. It was supposed to be haunted, but who listens to stupid kids stories anyway?

Amaya turned her attention away from the window to look at him. Amaya nodded slightly and then asked "Are you trying to join too?" Amaya shivered as the wind picked up.
