Episode 1 was pretty epic and the storyline looks pretty good.

Synopsis:
Set in a gothic fantasy world, this is the story of Teito Klein, an orphaned slave who became the top military academy student. However, an unexpected turn of events left him pursued by the forces of the Barsburg Empire. Now an escaping convict, Teito's sheltered by the church and it’s law of sanctuary. Here, he discovered many mysteries surrounding himself, the church, and the Empire itself. The fact that he might be connected to a dethroned king and the mystical stone of god, 'The Eye of Mikhael' made him the target of the empire more than ever. Fortunately the church is under the mythical 7 Ghost protection. But who are the Ghosts really. Will Teito be free from the military's clutch, And what of his said mission to uncover the history. And who is the military's Chief-of-Staff Ayanami exactly. Teito's future seems to have spiraled into an unexpectedly perilous path.

I'm waiting to see if anyone else besides Dattebayo and that combination fansubbers that released the weird 720p and 810p releases it.

The manga was great, but it got boring at around 30-ish.

OMG!

That episode was HORRIBLE!! Seriously. How can you call that "epic"?

Won't watch this Anime.

And I agree with Avarance. The second I saw the first poster for 07-Ghost, it reminded me of Code Geass.

Crap. Being forced into DLing this.... anime.

If I remember the manga correctly, the beginning was really boring, but then it got interesting a few more (LONG) chapters in, when he was received by the church.

There, it would switch between extremely serious to light humor to another long period of serious. And really, the only funny part are when the main character is talking with ...... god, I forgot his name, some bishop guy.

yea, the manga was boring in the beginning, it gets interested later on.

i read this, and pandora heart b4 these aniem came out. most anime these dyas are base off of mangas or video games.

For downloads, I guess it would have to be between Hatsuyuki and Aasasubs.

Dattebayo and DesireHimmel have released subs for this episode too, but I dislike Dattebayo's freak h264/avi encode, and I just don't like the resultion of DesireHimmel's SD/HD videos.

Hatsuyuki certainly has better resolution and video quality than DB and DH, and i think there translation was good too. I wish someone could do an analysis of Aasasubs for me, though, because I can't download it right now.
