Well I always used to make trial accounts for this game back in the days, it was always an epic game to me. From what I've seen now though, they have a free server with no subscription? I may start playing. Is Ragnarok still as good as it used to be or has it lost anything good about it? Always good to have friends around too you know.

Hopefully someone answers, decided to actually post in this section instead of classically posting in the Free MMORPG section.

Seems like there are some big differences between the free and premium servers.

Ragnarok never has and never will loose anything that makes it so good, its actually implementing new classes soon.
The only downside is that there are alot of botters on the official version which is why i play private server, GM's quickly ban any person(s) that is seen botting.

So bots would be the only downside? How much do they get in the way? Is there even a *Cough cough, sneeze, wipe nose* server that actually good and no ridiculous?

Well.... you would be fighting bots to get kills on most maps... pretty much.
I'll pm you with a usefull link to find a server that suits you.

Bots were and always a problem not only in ragnarok but also in other MMORPG too, so no need to worry, the major dowside come in Bugs & glitches which i always see, and mostly you won't get to hangout often as language is the majority of the problem else every thing is good and 100% playable

Aside from the bot problem, the game can somewhat be lonely because unless you have friends then it might be hard to level since I heard some players will just tell you to dual log with a Priest or HP. Valkyrie is hit hard with many problems that other mmorpgs faces because it is free, but overall the game is the best free mmorpg that I play after having tried numerous amount of others so called "free mmorpg."

I personally never have any conflict with bots.

I would definately advise the Valkyrie server.

Then you haven't gone to any good farming sites or leveling areas.
