I was wondering if it was possible to make it so that, any thread which hasn't been active for like 1 month, gets automatically locked. A lotta people search and necro old threads without knowing the rules. I'd think an automatic lock would prevent these kind of necro posts...

I don't think its realistically possible. It would require a lot of programming to change the site like that. And necro posting is not that frequent.

So changing the site for a minor problem is not worth it. As much as it is annoying, reporting a thread can get the job done.

Even though the MODS get lazy sometime -.-

Necroing is not a big problem, so not worth making something like that. Besides, every now again necro'd threads are neccessary, can't block the once and a while chance of that... :P
