G.I. Joe: Resolute *dum dum dum!*

Intro:

YES! YESS!! YESSS!!! Finally they take of the gloves! Swearing, blood, death, gore, oh yes, it is included indeed! This is not your fathers Joe, oh hell no, this, this is something better. Resolute takes the Joes we know and possibly love, and make them real soldiers. What happens when you drop the Joes balls? Resolute is what happens, and it happens IN YOUR FACE! *random explosion* Adult Swim just aired the never before shown movie *aparently* Saturday April 25th, and I must say wow. I was not expecting this, and I'm sure neither was anyone else. You CAN expect to see all your old Joes and more in action!

Review:

G.I. Joe: Resolute takes a different direction from the Joes we all know. In fact, the change is HUGE! Cobra Commander is actually a bad ***. People die when they get shot. People bleed when they get shot too... And stabbed... And cut... And blown up. *yes really* This is the Joe that I'm sure most of us was waiting for. There is no holding back with this, and you are in for one hell of a ride. The Joes must have full jails cuz they are not taking 100s of Cobra prisoners any more. It is time to get serious, shoot real bullets, and act like real soldiers. You wont see Cobra Commander getting shot in the head by a laser and get back up screaming "Curses!" and watch him run away in this. You wont see everyone go into a battle and come back alive. You wont see them talk as if they were strict Christians, these *&^%ers are soldiers! What you will see if something new. What you will see if something awesome. What you will see, will most likly make your brain explode if you were a Joe fan. So what the hell is the plot anyways? Well I'll tell you what the plot is. Mr shiny Mask *Cobra Commander* does not plan on taking candy from young children. He has a better idea, killing MILLIONS of people with his new toy. What toy do I speak of? A fricken particle cannon that can destroy entire cities with one shot of course! But of course the Joes wont let that happen! They do what they do best, and no I don't mean teaching kids how to be polite. NO, they are elite soldiers damn it, they are going to kick some cobra ***! Sounds good so far yah? Well it gets better, or well worst if you like certain characters. Why exactly? Well I wont say who, but people will die in this film, from both the Cobra side AND the Joe side. I mean seriously dead, no way will they be coming back, as in you see their heads explode dead. That may hurt some of the fans, but this is soldier vs terrorist. Not good willers vs bullies. The run time is about an hour and a half, and you can expect there to be some bad with the good other than your favorite joe getting raped. For me the best part was the ninja fight. Yup, I fricken said ninja fight. Two iconic Joe ninjas clash in the battle we always dreamt of, and one of them is not getting back up... So then, ninja fights, action, particle cannons, old characters, what else do you want? This is a must see, so go google it and hope you find it on youtube or something. Apparently it is also going to be a mini series, or has been going on? Something like that...

Anywho, I being a Joe fan give this baby a 9/10. It was something new and something good. There was some fail as well, but only just a little bit.

If you like G.I. Joe and always wanted them to mature the show, then you have to watch this. However, if the fact your most loved Joe could possibly die and that will make you want to suicide you might wanna avoid it. I'm sure non fans of the franchise will still love this movie/show as well.

G.I. Joe the toyline that began in the 1960s by Hasbro toy company. From the 60s till the 80s the figures were more or less 12in dolls that were dressed as anything military. In the 80s they added to the line of dolls with mini figures that most of us know as action figures, which were about 4in tall. G.I. Joe is also known as "Action Man" and the term "Action Figure" was actually coined from the G.I. Joe figures. In 1985 they created a cartoon based on the action figures known as "G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero" that aired for a few years. Before that there was comics that were based on the 12in dolls. G.I. Joe still lives strong based on the action figures, dolls, and comics. Since the 80s there has been some animations based on A Real American Hero. Apparently there will be or has been out(?) film based on A Real American Hero in 2009. Of course there is also this new animated series/movie that just started also based on A Real American Hero.

I don't really care if something has violence or not... But the 80s series was pretty retarded. There was no killing and if anyone got shot it was as if nothing happened, as in no blood or anything. So yah, I am happy now that when someone gets shot, they actually bleed, ect ect. Obviously animations are not real, but unless they are super heroes, if they get shot, they should get pwnt.

Great thing about GI Joe is that they are all just ordinary people and can die thus their story ends. Takes a lot more skills to write this story then lets say it would to write a story about heroes who never die. I also love the new animated style. I really hated that old GI Joe crap and that's why I was skeptical to watch it at first but I'm so glad I did.

Yah they did a great job at animation. Lol at first when I heard the first curse word I thought it was just me... I mean words like crap are not bad, but for G.I. Joe they would not say crap, let alone the f bomb. So I was just like... Then again with the blood and stuff... Again I was like... Kinda was shocked at first hearing and seeing all of that for a G.I. Joe based animation lol... So happy they did not hold back finally.
