Allright. Before doing the whole titan-sized story i'd have to say a few things.
1) i'm a fan of WoW. Sorry for that.
2) you don't have to know WoW to RP here! I'll help you in anything. It'll be way easier than you can imagine.
3) This can also be considered as a simple personality test here. Feel free to make a char similar to yourself, i could see which WoW race/class you could be... :P
4) Feel free to PM me if you need anything. Always there!
5) Swear words ,curses, and bad words allowed - but only ICly. No offences to other "players" allowed, only between characters or to NPCs.

HERE WE GO!

--THE STORY--

Year 2004. A strange snowy mound has been discovered in Siberia, Russia. The mountain was quite big, and so various archaeologists decided to dig, to see what lies under that mound. What was down there was stunning. A giant stone arch, quarry, tall about 20 meters, with two stone “guardians of humanoid aspect standing near the columns, with a claymore in their hands.
The Dalai Lama was called to investigate the site. He felt a strange “magical” presence within it, but he couldn’t do anything. The arch drew many visitors and tourists… they didn’t know that five years later, everything would change.
The arch suddenly swept away the snow nearby, and the empty space between the columns began to glow of a blue colour, forming a spiral. Inscriptions appeared on the arch. They were soon decrypted, forming the word “Azeroth”. Three persons were sent inside the “Portal” to explore it. What they found, is another world, lying beneath the portal. A world called Azeroth, a world of heroes and adventures, of war and chaos, of magic and mysteries. There, two factions were formed – The Alliance and the Horde, each with their members. When the Earth humans entered their world, they stopped… They eventually made a single alliance.
When the three humans came back to the Earth, they were changed… Different… One of them wielded the powers of Fire. The second learned the ways of the azerothian Paladin, a fighter devout to the Holy Light. The last one could contact the Elements, speak with them and use their powers…
More and more people was attracted by the portal. People who wanted another life, who wanted to change. But as they entered Azeroth, they began to change… They slowly became azerothian inhabitants, changing themselves… Reflected by how they were in the Earth. Policemen could become Holy Paladins, protecting the innocent and fighting evil. Army troopers may become strong warriors, fighters, or Hunters of the Wild, with a bow or gun, and a loyal pet always at their side.
Criminals, thugs, bandits… Some learned to hide in the shadows, to get away even from the worst of dangers, to take people into deadly ambushes. Others began wielding Demonic powers, of Fel Fire or pure shadow energy, to unleash it on poor souls, to drain their vital energy. Many of those became enemies of Azeroth, as they joined the ranks of the demonic Burning Legion, or they gave their life to join the unending Undead Scourge.
Some of the wisest, strongest and most courageous heroes of Azeroth became creatures of legend, such as dragons or titans, elementals or magical entities. The worst amongst all, however, became creatures of evil: Demons, shadows, undead aberrations or the so-called “Walking Corpses” : the Death Knights, who wield the powers of unholy and ice.
Intelligent and clever individuals learned to use Magic: Some chosen the path of Fire, Frost or Arcane, becoming Mages, and used those powers to fight or mainly in constructions and magical enchants. Some others discovered the secrets of the Elements, learning to use their powers for good. Others started to pray and devout the Holy Light, enhancing the magic of Light in their weapons, or using it on friend and foes. Some chosen a different path, entering in contact with the Nature, learning to use its power to help others or to transform themselves into beasts, enhanced fighters.
Not all of them were humans, though, as there were many races. Members of the Alliance were the versatile Humans, the strong Dwarves, the intelligent Gnomes, the mysterious Night Elves, and the honourable Draenei. On the Horde side, there are the fierce Orcs, the agile Trolls, the forsaken Undeads, the resistant Taurens and the magic Blood Elves.
Now, they are allied together with one single mission… To bring order and justice to this war-torn world, destroying the evil forces in Azeroth. Will they succeed?
YOU are the one destined to help them… Are you ready?

Earth Name/surname : Sebastian Lomm
Azeroth Name/surname : Kerthias Wrathlight "The Hammer"
Personality /description on Earth: He is a young man , about 22. He's tall 1.80 cm (don't know how much it is in feet), with black, short, straight hair, and dark blue eyes. His skin is of a light brown, proof he's quite tanny. Got a few muscles, but he's not very muscular.
He's a kind man, always ready to help others. Though, he hates criminals and outlaws, and would do anything to stop them. Every way of solving a problem is good for him, either violence or words. He surely prefers a quick punch than a hour of chat... When he gets a friend, though, he'll do anything to help and keep him.
Description on Azeroth: He became a dwarf ... (don't know sizes...) He is 53 human years - which are about 22 dwarven years . Darkish skin, black long hair and a well-cured black beard. His eyes are slightly glowing yellow. His personality is nearly the same of the Human one.
Short Story : Sebastian had a terrible childhoof - his parents broke when he was 2, and so he never met his mother. His father used to assault him if he did anything bad - like a bad note at school. He lived in violence for years, but at the age of 15 he fled from his house and went to a friend, until 18. At school, bullies kept on offending him. They stopped when, at 16, he broke the nose of one of the bullies, with a strong punch. He passed school with good notes. He had a girlfriend that lasted only four months, and that broke his heart. He eventually decided to get in Azeroth...
Why did he choose to go in Azeroth? : He wanted to change life, totally. He felt quite useless, and with very few friends. Maybe, being a good man, he'd have found more. He also tried to suicide a few times, saying that his life was worthless.

First come first serves. Not allowed to take heroes or special chars of World of Warcraft, but you'll be able to RP many "NPCs" as you may get in contact with them, like guilds or all... I'll update all later. If a character sheet will be ORIGINAL and with a sense, you may get a stage further or special race/class . Try to ask too.

Earth name and surname : Harvey Randall.

Azeroth Name and Surname (After you entered the Portal... you can choose it later if you want.) : Currently none, but his title is "The Windseeker."

Personality and physical description(on Earth!) : He is a tall person, standing at around six foot, he is slightly podgy, but not hugeley so. His hair is unkempt and "Lop-sided", one side being thicker and longer than the other. His nose has a small bump in it, and there are rather heavy bags underneath his eyes, the eyes themselves are a deep blue, with green around the iris.

He speaks with a rather heavy, oh so slightly posh british accent.

Physical description (on Azeroth. You can choose to write it later, when you'll enter the Portal. No personality, as it'll be nearly the one of Earth... Just put in some change, if you did any.) : After he entered the portal, somthing odd happened. He began to morph into a troll, but it stopped halfway, so he looks like a normal human, however - small tusks have begun to grow from his mouth, his nose seems slightly longer and his skin is a deep blue, his ears allso increasing in length. However, the other aspects of him have remained the same, his scruffy, brown hair and deep, blue-green eyes.

Short History (Earth only... This also includes the first steps of the Portal, i think?): Harvey was a bit of a social oucast whilst growing up, often known for his weird, often freakishly so sence of humor, this eventually died down. However, he still seems a tad psycotic, and as if he doesn't take much seriously.

However, every now and then sudden outbursts of brilliant philisophical wisdom will sprout from him, his parents split up when he was around ten, so he lived with his mother for most of his years until he entered the portal.

EDIT: However, somthing in his physical change when he entered the portal turned him completeley insane. His mind warped by the twisted energies holding the two worlds together.

Why did he/she choose to go in Azeroth? : Somthing mystical surrounded the gate when he visited it, it was as if it was his escape, his destiny.

OOC : Yes. I do. I often Roleplay in WoW too, so I have a basic understanding of the Lore.

Personality and physical description(on Earth!) :
Is a neutral kind of man. During times of need he leaves. During times of killing he leaves. He is a small man. Suffering from dwarfism. He stands at about 4' 10. Is not very muscular at all.
Physical description (Not needed! You can either decide which "race" you want to be, or let me choose together with the class No personality needed, as it's the same of Earth.) : Small midget like with a white beard. He is balding and has swirly goggles over his eyes. He is grouped as a gnome to most.
Short History (Earth only... This also includes the first steps of the Portal, i think?):Always being picked on he ran from a fight his dad was in constant state of disappointment. After he divorced and remarried he never pays attention to his son. He chose to leave around adultery.
Why did he/she choose to go in Azeroth? : To escape everything in his old life.
OOC : Do you have any experience in WoW? If not, would you like any help about WoW lore or such? : its been awhile since i last played.

Why did he/she choose to go in Azeroth? : His life was at a depressing time both of his parents died and his grandma is in a hospital with cancer and his friends didnt want anything to do with him anymore and he just needed to find new relationships

(( warlocks at level 10 gain a bunch of shadow related spells and a pet. i was referring as appearance edited my incarnation of the whole lvl 10 thing. in other words i was wondering if i could change my guys appearance to look like a shadow to to his warlock powers which relate to shadow magic. ))

Azeroth Name and Surname : Grimoire

Personality and physical description(on Earth!): Slender and sickly. Long hair. Likes flowers.

Physical description: Pale, long hair, and dim eyes. Walks with a sort of stumble, and still looks sickly.

Short History: Alistor and his family came down with a virus. His parents died quickly, but Alistor managed to survive; needing machines to keep himself alive. His organs began to fail one after another. His family was rich, so his inharitance money keeps him alive.

Why did he/she choose to go in Azeroth?: He hopes that going there will keep him from dying.

Upon entering the gate, Alistor took a deep breath of the clean air. He immediately began coughing. Blood poured into his lungs and our of his mouth, his heart began to beat faster and he gasped for any air he could manage. He clenched his fist, gathering blood soaked dirt in his hands. Eventually, he collapsed, sighing.

(( I hoped you came, Worgen. Welcome... So this is a perfect situation for an undead - and mage would be perfect. Common, you may become a shadow with experience in game, and to do so you must also choose the path of the Evil - Shadows are mainly evil. You can still RP around normally. ))




"Bah... All those younglings... Getting in the portal for nothing..." Archmage Dargus Ven was walking by the portal, looking at all the humans getting inside Azeroth, and morphing into other humanoid creatures. "I'm sure they'll feel be-" His glaze was attracted by a dead person on the ground. "This poor soul didn't do it... I almost feel pity for him... "He scratches his long, white beard . "And if..." He kneels by him. He puts his hands on his body as a flow of Arcane power goes from his hands to his body... The human's body deteriorating, but after a while it starts to breathe... Flesh partially disappears in some parts of his body, the skin becoming thinner and lighly paler. "Hey there... Can you hear me, Human? You're alive now...I couldn't bring you back to how you were before... you should feel better now however."

(( NOTE : Now horde and alliance are united. In fact they're allied, even if hatred between the two factions, expecially on the most fanatic races, will surely hold. You people, feel free to start and RP - note that the portal is in Elwynnn, very nearby to Stormwind, which will mostly be the RP city of this game. We'll also move if we get more people. ))

Kerthias looks around. The Cathedral of Stormwind is clearly visible in front of him. "What a building... The Light blessed it." He goes towards it, but he notices two death knights blocking the way... "Look at that, we've got a midget here." "He'll be easy job..." As soon as they draw their runeblades, Kerthias mutters a few words... One of the death knights falls down on the ground, struck by an invisible entity. The others charges towards Kerthias. He parries with his hammer. As it starts to glow of a golden colour, the death knights takes a few steps backwards. Too late, a Holy bolt flying towards him. Knocked backwards, both lieing nearby, suffering. "I hope this was a lesson for you, corpse scum. Never consider someone for his height..." He then steps inside the Cathedral, kneeling in front of the altar.

(( With NPC's, feel free to do full battles. Unless the NPC is involved with me, or with all the other RPers. ))

(( NOTE: Stormwind is now considered the Capital city - of Azeroth, excluded Dalaran. There's Shattrath in Outlands, but that's another thing. Feel free to go in other cities, though, and to interact with NPCs or such ... ))

(( I'm actually going to be a priest, since I have some experience being in a hospital since I was 2. =x You pick things up when you're sick. Also, the bones don't appear, they protrude while the skin tightens, And that only happens after about a year of death. I was planning to be better preserved. (He already looked half dead alive, anyways!)))

Alistor's mind was in a haze. The old stranger took him to a grassy lands somehow. He turned his head and saw a huge pinnacle of stone, surrounded with wooden totems and what seemed to be an elevator. He blacked out for a while, than returned at a lake. The man was gone, but more people were around them. They looked sickly, as he did, but seemed to know what they were doing.

"Don't worry, kid." A female one said to him. "You'll pull through, don't worry."

Oh, like I've never heard that before...
