Hi to you all,

I am new to the forums and this is my first time posting, though I have posted on similar forums in similar threads many times before. I decided in my first post to abandon the formal "template" and just go for the straight ahead approach. This is due mostly to the fact that I have several games in mind and am looking for some folks who might be willing to jump in from day one and throw around ideas to see what sticks. Most of the games are variations of one another as I tend to flip flop daily with exactly what it is I think it should feel like, but they are all in the sci-fi/fantasy realm. I am adult and looking for other adults (18+ please) who are creative in the fields of programming, 2d and 3d modeling, writing fiction, etc.

I am open to pretty much anyone with an idea and a passion for creating new games that push the envelope. I will say that I am not sure about payment at this point as I am looking for input on the way the game would go even in that realm. Well hello, I would ask you that you use the template. Your post w/o it is very uninformative and more of a I like games so I'm going to make a game post. It tells us nothing about the games, you, or your skills.
Currently you sound like a "ideas person" which is fine, but not very useful. An ideas person you can get by posting in any gaming forum and generally aren't that helpful. However if you have skills people would love to know them, do you have programming experience, graphics, business, management. Any of those would help, as well I am going to assume you would want to be the project lead, but if you don't have any of those it would be highly unlikely that you should/would be it if this project was to be successful.
Let me ask you something, I want a Bio, it would help in understanding who you are and what you can do. How old are you, do you go to school, (Where and degree?) do you work, do you have a stable life that won't change day to day? These pieces of information will help in telling potential members if you can lead or assist on a project. Further more please post what you do know so far, such as a forum that you can use (don't use a pre-created hosted ones they aren't good and make your game look very..... playerworld type). Write up a document of your game, if you want a team I suggest 40-120 pages for the document. That is how you can help, w/o one your team is destined to take to long or fail.
As well can you get a website up and make it look professional? Or use a website called Mantis or wiki trac.
I personally am computer scientists with a bachelors degree (Fall 2010 so 1 more qtr) from the University of Washington. The reason I ask these is I am interested in a small project, not an MMO but an arcade or RPG that would be fun to make and could actually be released w/o the need for frequent updates.
