Voyage Century looks really good, I will check out the site, get more info about it. I think I remember trying this game back when it was in beta testing, it had a huge Sea Dogs feel to it. I forget how the controls work though. I imagine its point and click, but if you get to properly control your characters movements... I would love the ability to use my 360 controller for this game.

Voyage century is the only game I can think of, but I can't recommend it because it is incredibly tedious.

pretty sure both pirate king and tale of pirates are both lame cartoony graphics. Sorry, but any game that takes place on the high seas needs to be visually stunning with realistic style graphics. cartoon graphics is great for reg mmorpgs... not pirate games though, seriously.

And yes, I have been searching around for some time. I am even considering getting PotC (Sea Dogs 2) for PC and getting all the mods... actually, pretty sure I will do that after package 14 is finished, they are pretty much changing the whole way the game is played for the better, though the graphics are still terrible, but the gameplay was far better than what I have found so far.

I have just finished downloading VC and am going to try it out, woot!

I dont mind tedious, means you have to put work into it to get something good right? As long as you dont work on the game for 100 hours to obtain a great ship then lose a ship battle in the open sea and suddenly your pride and joy is sunk forever lol... that would kinda suck.

IMO the game is only good if your a girl, borderline homo or blind, its FAR to "cute" to be taken seriously as a decent pirate game, i dunno i just didn't like it
