i started playing yesterday on the first minute i could. and i really love the game when you start there are some things that are difficult, but from the moment you know those things, you will really enjoy this game. this game is different from all the rest, here you can level up by crafting, and you dont have that annoying energy system you have in alot of browser games.

does anyone have a newbie guide, tips, advice , or walkthrough for this game? the small tutorial in the beginning only teaches you how to fight but nothing else..

Hi,

When you hover over your stats it gives a brief tip on what each stat is for but here goes:

Health is what keeps you alive, when you take damage it comes out of your health. While your health does regenerate when it gets to 0 or less you go splat and die.

Power is what is needed to execute combat abilities/spells, the more power you have the better abilities you can use or the more you can use an ability. i.e. if you have 20 power and a 5 power ability you should be able to use it 4 times.

Luck, this is used to determine how much money you get at the end of a fight. There is a base amount of money and improving this stat can make it more, given a toss up between this an another stat i'd probably go with another stat for the moment until it has more uses.

Speed, this is used to determine how fast you hit in combat. 1pt = 2ms faster, doesnt sound like much I am sure but if you had 200speed that would be almost half a second faster on a standard combat timer of 1.9 seconds thats a quarter faster! In addition to that Speed is used in Dodge checks in combat, if you have 5pts or more lower than a monster it will dodge you (randomly) if you have 5pts or more than a monster you will dodge it (randomly). So keeping your Speed up can help a great deal in combat.

Wisdom is needed to consume potions, scrolls and to use certain other special items in the game. Neglecting this stat will prevent you from using more powerful items but then big dumb fighters aren't the wisest tool in the toolshed. So who needs wisdom eh?

Might, improves your damage 5pts of might = 1 extra point of damage.

Defense, 1pt in defense = 1pt of damage blocked. Although this stat can not be raised by players directly only from armor and items.

Damage, 1pt in damage = 1pt of damage dealt. Like defense this stat only comes from weapons and items.

I think that is all the stats .... there is no Walkthrough because the game is not finished.

I have plans to introduce more guides but right now I am focusing on the game itself and not the documentation, try asking for help in chat the people that play are friendly and do not bite.

I have drawn all of the item artwork for Legendary Voyage myself, I am not the worlds greatest artist but it saves on the bottom line ... cost ... hehe.

I guess I should take it as a compliment that you think it looks like Runescape, although I know many people hate RS for the community it has it obviously does something right with several million subscribers.
