Its not that hard leveling.I played for like less than a week on my merc and i got to lvl 30 or something.

I won't even recommend this game. It's just grind and you won't be able to play it alone(atleast lvl alone) after around lvl.. hmm.. 30+. In my opinion it's waste of time. There is much better games out there.

I think its a great game. I've been playing for 2 days and I'm level 43.
In the higher levels there are a lot of things you can do besides "Kill kill kill"
like as aforementioned PVP, Guild Raids, ClockWorks(Giant boss, youtube it).

Alot of people quit because they think its boring at first.But then after lvl 60 or so it gets super fun.Just like Maplestory 1st job is boring.Its also free
