For centuries, the Darklanders have lived in peace. Living underground or deep in the Darklands, they have avoided contact with outsiders. The Darkland races lived in harmony, building their own nations on their lands. But, even though they have lived in the Darklands for longer than even the oldest member can recall, they still haven't explored all of the Drowen Cavern or uncovered it's mysteries.

Deep in the caverns, explorers search for these mysteries, facing fearsome creatures. The Satyr elders warned the explorers of the danger in the caverns, quoting phrases from the Dark Lexicon about demons being locked in the caves before the time of the Drow's, but the explorers went on nevertheless.

Races:
Drow: The elven race of the Darklands, the Drow live in the Drowen Caverns, where they've built cities. Drows live in threeclans rival clans, the Gul Linath, the Faer Neantak, and the Venorik. The Drow also have a neutral city, where the other Darklanders can visit. Because the Drow have light-sensitive eyes, they hardly ever leave the cave, and when they do, they are often blindfolded.
Abilities:
-Invisibility: One of the Gul Linath clan can become invisible.
-Anti-magic: One of the Venorik clan repels magical forces, but cannot gain mana.
-Arcane Mastery: One of the Faer Neantak clan can see and use powerful magical spells.

Satyr: The origins of the Satyr aren't known for sure. According to the Dark Lexicon, they came from Hell as slaves to a demon, but broke free and fought alongside the inhabitants of Terra to push the demons back into their portal, than destroy it. The Satyrs live above ground, caring for the plant life of the Darklands. The satyr are the only race that can use fire and nature/life magic.
Abilities:
-Pyromantic: Can use fire magic.
-Naturalist: Can fill plants or animals with life, healing them or keeping them alive.

Kath: Half spider, half humanoid, the Kath are the largest of the Darkland Races. Having the body type of a centaur, the Kath aren't very flexible. With six legs and great stamina, the Kath can run farther and longer than the other races, making them great hunters. Kath can't get very close to their targets, so they don't use swords or axes. Instead, they often use Spears or bows. The Kath don't use metal armor, because their carapace is stronger than steel, and lighter. The Kath are great tailors, using their spider web to make clothing. They also wear masks to keep from scaring others.
-Life Tracker: Sences heart beats, breathing, and heat. It it lives, it dies.
-Venom Tip: creates a natural poison that is excreted and coats the carapace.

Sri'ak: Bat people. Flying, screaming, biting bat people. The most beast-like race, that Sri'ak have a close relationship with the Drow. They don't usually use armor or weapons, because it weighs them down, but their teeth and claws can rip flesh off of anything. The Sri'ak's scream can stun and potentially paralyze an enemy, making them that much more dangerous.
Abilities:
-Wind Edge: Slices an enemy with it's claws mid-flight.
-Paralysis: Paralyzes an enemy with a screech.
-Wing Gust: Fans the air with it's wings.

Shadowling: The shadowlings are the oldest and most mysterious race. They don't have a physical body, instead being made up of a mist or shadow. The only way to tell a Shadowling from shadows are their eyes, which are glassy and reflective. To help blend in, the Shadowling will copy the shape of someone's body. Because they don't breath, the Shadowling cannot talk, but they can spell out something using shadows.
Abilities:
-Possession: Takes controll of someone's body by moving their shadows.
-Metamorphic: Changes shape into anything the Shadowling can think of.

Appearance: A male Drow, Grathir has very pale skin- the result of not having much exposiure to sunlight. He has quite short brown hair (just below the bottoms of his ears) Not very tall, at least by elven standards. Has a finely crafted shortsword and shortbow.
Ability: Invisibility

((In the neutral Drow town of Nec'Perya. Also, Drow commonly come with white hair. They dye their hair to change the color. Also, Drow never go above ground if it's unneeded, so you can be dark skinned oh future Drows. I'll fill out a sheet later, once we have one or two more people.))

Appeareance : Obviously an elder and experienced Kath.Warrior-looking. His carpace showing scratches and some scar, sign that he fought many battles. He wears a black mask, with red blades drawn on them, the mask covering almost his whole face except his eyes. He's got a long spear, with what seems to be a round shield attached to it, on the handle. The spear is of a dark blue colour, with a black point at the top of it. Looks more like a double-edge axe than like a spear, but it has the lenght of a polearm.
He speaks with a low tone of voice. His past years of experience allowed him to learn the basic language spoken in the Darklands, and with a good quality too. (( allowed? ))
Ability : Venom Tip.
Adress : UNKNOWN. Hell yeah, you got it.

Anub'Karikas was being pretty annoyed of the glazes from all the Drows around. He shouldn't have this treatment as a veteran. He did surely more than all of them did, sure of it. He's an elder and he's treated like an animal.

Resting his huge, blue spear on his carpace, still holding it, slowly walking around the city, searching for a certain person... Muttering to himself.
"Bah.... They called me for some kind of mission... Yet they don't spawn up."
He walks by a satyr (Lor) which could seem the best person to talk to, or to ask informations to.
"Excuse me, kind Satyr. I need an information reguarding some kind of exploration i've been called forth for. Do you know anything about it?"

"So much for my break." Lor muttered to himself. "Hello, I'm Lor, foreman of the excavation project." He bowed with his right fist on the left side of his chest, a usual greeting among Satyr. "You must be Anub'Karikas. We've been expecting you." Lor turns the Kath around and points to a building a few yards away. "You passed out building. The one that says 'Excavation Guild'. In big, bold letters. Honestly, I can't believe you missed it." Lor leads the Kath back to the building.

Grathir exited the guild hall and saw his foreman, Lor, talking with a Kath "Sir, do we have a new member for the exploration team?" Grathir asked as he approached them.
