No, nothing has to match anything, you just have to have a unique name and what not, meaning that its not taken by someone else already. As long as you made it to the third page of registration (1st page is agreements, 2nd is kssn/name identification, 3rd is other info), then you're good to go. All you have to worry about is having unique username/nickname.

I filled out the whole first portion of registration. This can be used as an example of how you might fill stuff out.
MeruRikku was already taken for username, so I just added mad. You can do whatever ya want.
For the nickname, I just put some korean characters (I think it says meru) in front of rikku and it worked.
For a password I just put in asasa1 and it worked. You just can't put in aaa, basically a letter/number 3 consecutive times. Between 6-8 characters.
At this point just start messing around with numbers and letters.
