You guys should have heard the radio interview with Jay Z. He was straight up pissed that new rappers kept abusing the plugin, props to the company who made it, but it's overplayed now.

He *****es about this stuff, but he's not ashamed to have Lil Wayne on his album.
Lil Wayne being someone who abuses it the most. If you can't sing or play music without a machine correcting it, get another job. Last edited by Norrin Radd; 06-19-2009 at 12:17 AM. Reason: -=Doublepost=- |

Ironically the song was produced by one of the auto-giants.Kanye West along with No I.D.(The godfather of Chicago rap)
I found it funny that Jay made this song, but was too much of punk *** to to take shots at one of the wackest auto-tune users ever,Lil Wayne.I know it wasn't exactly a direct diss towards anyone, but it would've been more interesting for him to drop some names. He wasn't dissing pain either,if anything he was acknowledging him by saying "quit t-paining it". Then I seen what Jim Jones said about it.Saying Jay is a hater and he's "knocking the hustle".He went on to say something like people jump on the auto-tune gimmick because thats where the moneys at,and that's where performers are gonna go. |
