Don't assume for a second that you have to go in to college knowing what you want to be when you graduate. Become a General Studies Major (or atleast that's what we call them at A&M) and go from there. Eventually you'll find something that really interests you and you'll be able to work your way towards that goal. It's all about findind something that really intrigues you and isn't so much a class, but more of a challenge involving subjects and areas that you like.
For me, it was anatomy in during my senior year of HS. AP Calc, AP English, and my AP Histories were great and all, but none of them really sparked any curiosities. After anatomy, I kind of fell in love with biology and the way the body works. That, combined with my love of working and helping people set me on the Pre-Med path. Just find something you enjoy. If you can do that, it's no longer studying and a pain. You actually enjoy it. Hope that helps any! |
