I guess Dameo is right, saying that Ippo is still actually well-known considering it has a whole new season that semi-recently started airing(After how many years? rofl.)

It's pretty much an opposite outcome for romance comedies that usually end up lost in the crowd.

Agreed with OP.

Baccano was definitely under-rated.
16 different characters (more like 14.5 though) and 4 different periods of time to follow upon.
Plus, the OP music is great.

I'd also have to say Cooking Master Boy.
Chinese cuisine + Over-reaction + anime = ftw.
It was fun to watch when I was a kid and it is still fun to watch now.

Finally, maybe.... just maybe... Kaiji.
Made by the same person who made Akagi.
Not as demonic but just as daring, if not even more.

Sevenfresh.. Reborn is a shonen jump manga isn't it? That's hardly an unknown publication there.

For manga, I've always thought Deadman Wonderland, Abara, and Dawn-Tsumetai Te don't get enough attention. As for animes.. Boogiepop needs some love.. or does it? Nothing makes sense anymore!

Blassreiter is a amazing anime.
Most people never heard of it.
The story is well done, and the character delevopment, and story buildup is great.
The animation is good too.

Its worth watching.. I don't even know why I tried it because I most animes with mecha influence.. but I did, and I don't regret it at all.
