Okay guys. So I'm making a Battle Assist (aka future Billposter or "BP").

I currently have only used my skill on Heal (Lvl. 3). I'm level 17.

But I just want to make sure. I know that Battle Assist needs the current stats before becoming a BP:

Str: XXXX (every available stat goes into str)
Sta: 30-35
Dex: 43
Int: 15 (do not add for battle assist!!)

Question #1: Is STA suppose to be at 30-35 WITH buffs? Or at 30-35 even without buffs?

Question #2: Dex stays at 43 forever right? Even when you become a BP?

Question #3: Are these the skills I need to max in order? (Look down)

SKILL MAX ORDER FOR Battle Assist:

Haste, Heap up, Stonehand (5), Accuracy, Cats (4), Cannonball, Beef Up

Question #4: The "Stonehand (5)" means to get Stonehand to level 5... correct? Same with Cats?

Question #5: What are your opinions of adding stats at level 17? Should it be 1 STR - 1 DEX per level until DEX gets to 43? Or should I do 1 STR - 1 STA until STA is 30-35 first?

I suggest adding no STA to your character since its a waste IMO.

The 43 dex is the cap for a BP. So it doesnt make a huge deal for your assist job. If I were you I would do a 1 str, 1 dex ratio until you hit 43 dex. The point for 43 dex is that when you are a BP the speed cap is 63. So 43 + 20 (from cannonball) will make the 63.

It does not make a huge deal on what buff you max out first. But Haste then Heap Up is definitely the first two.
After that it doesnt matter. Just remember by the time you are level 60, Heap, Haste, Beef Up, Cannonball should be maxed. All other points are better for Stone Hand, Accuracy and Cat Like Reflexes. You can eventually max them all.

So overall. Stats should be XX STR, 43 DEX, 15 STA, 15 INT.
Do 1 Str and 1 Dex per level until Dex is 43.
Skill builds aren't key but haste and heap should be first on your list to level.

Lastly, check the gpotato/google for builds for FlyFF. It would be much easier.

Oh. I heard a lot of people say STA should be 30-35 though. (so as not to get critted and get K.O.ed) I've already put one stat into STA (which currently is at 30 with Buff Pang buffs)

But right now I'm going for the 1 STR - 1 DEX (:

STA is nice to have, but if you can survive without it its fine. I personally have 30 base STA.

What I would do is add no STA and if you find yourself dying a lot add some.

Here's how I look at it.
Basically with criticals its not the defence you gain but the max hp.
You get heap up which adds 40 STA when maxed. And when you are a BP you get a bonus hp for each STA you add. Knights also have this.

So the STA is much of a waste IMO. I personally have a level 69 BP and no STA on it. Though I have some pretty nice equips and a Gore Necklace, a critical doesn't make me lose much.

Also I have maxed out Stonehand so monsters are stunned when I kill them making me hardly get hurt. If you like to boss then the STA is a good idea however Stonehand will keep you safe. With 100% attack speed and Stonehand maxed, you are pretty much safe.

(I have 100% attack speed since I awakened some items with that stat)

Oh, alright. So far I've done what you guys have suggested, with the 0 in STA (although I messed up earlier and added 1 into STA), 43 DEX base, and the rest to STR.

I'm level 51 (: and I'm doing fine even though I'm getting critted, so I suppose I'll stick with 0 STA addition. Thanks guys.

Btw, what skills should I add for BP when I get the job? I currently have no information on what BP skills to max (though I know there aren't much).

Or should I just max Cat's Reflex and Accuracy, then get Resurrection?

Buffs are always the best option.
Keep resurrection at 1 if you can. But you won't need it. I would get Cat Like Reflexes first since its more defensive. And if you don't want to die then get that. Accuracy is good but not as useful for BP's right then.

Its been a while since I have played but for BP try to get the attack up buff since right now you are doing a 1v1 build.
The flyff forums are better for skill builds IMO.

Remember to get stonehand ASAP.
