I am currently wirting an MMORPG Botz based game

Botz Online

Here are some detail of our upcoming game.

* Unit transformation
* Different sized units
* 4 Worlds including a training world and PK worlds
* Clan Wars

I know what you are thinking but wait and see , also me and the dev time will me posting up some in dev pic of the Botz

Too many similarities with Bots (the name, the whole game idea etc..).
You should be aware that your game will be taken down pretty quickly if you don't change the name of the game before releasing the game.

Thank you for the comments but how do you work out that the games are the similular ?

Bots is nothing like my game , here is a few reason way not

Theres use 3 type of charactor - Mine will have over 30 charactors

Theres is a lobby base game - Mine is a full MMORPG like WOW and Zero Online

Theres is mostly base on a cash store - Mine has both In Game and Cash Stop like Zero Online and AOA

Yes i agree that the name is similular but there is just called BOTS mine is called BOTZ ONLINE

Also did you look at the forums and site before you made that decision ?

There is but ares is called BOTZ online , plus the game looks and play completly different

Your game isn't very similar, but enough for them to try to go after you. I suggest changing it or adding a sub title like BOTZ: Ultimate Destruction or something.

Are you serious? That bot up there in the corner of the homepage is almost an EXACT rip-off of a high-level Patch in Bots!

Of course, besides that and quite a mouthful o' typos, the only problem IMO is the story. It's not bad, but I personally think that instead of an electrical storm it should be some sort of asteroid belt, and many pods collided with asteroids, cracking the cases. Later on, they would pass by a planet populated by parasitic entities, and the cracked ones would get infected with cold, dark feelings and the urge to kill and conquer.

This would create a game where instead of every man for himself, it's the bots who survived the asteroid belt against the parasitic entities, the "standard" 2-sided battle for most MMOs (at least the ones I've played).

Of course, this is all just my opinion, so ignore me if you feel the need!
