Lands of Hope - Adds Gladiators

A few days ago we released a brand new playable class for our almost 4 year old browser based RPG "Lands of Hope".

This new class is entirely free, you will not need to pay any money to get it past level 100!

The Mercenary class leads to the Gladiator and Champion classes and is designed in such a way that it is a lot easier to play than other classes in the game.

This class starts in its own realm, no more will you have to do the training tutorial. As well as this fact you start fully equipped and ready to do battle so no more will you have to figure out how to equip before starting a fight!

Combat has been vastly simplified to less than 6 buttons so no more will you need a Phd in button mechanics to find the right button!

Story
The Gods have grown weary of humanity and use mortals for entertainment purposes. You have been dumped into the Heavenly Arena and must fight to prove your worth and gain a Rudis entitling you to leave the Arena or to return at your leisure!

New Class Skills:

Mounted Combat
The ability to ride mounts in combat, this is normally given to all players by default but the Gods have deemed it more entertaining to watch unmounted combat so you have to unlock the skill.

Track Combatants
The ability to track other Gladiators for PvP purposes.

Spoils of War
The ability to wear better equipment as given to you by the Gods or Gladiator Rewarders.

At each evolution you gain access to a skill training deed that lets you buy the above 3 skills or one of a dozen or so other combat abilities.

This should mean that most gladiator players are unique and varied!

PvP
This class is encouraged to PvP and has the PvP flag turned on by default preventing you from turning it off. The Gods want combat!
