iam geting the guild war trio set on saturday and was wondering if a Dervish/monk is a pretty good start? and was wondering if alot people still played this game

plenty of people still do, its rarely hard to find help, you just need to be friendly about it.

as for whats good, well everything is good at something, i cant give advice n the dervish becuase i myself have yet to bother making one.

all in all its trail and error, and you can always change your 2nd profession.

Best start is Warrior, ranger, monk or elementalist, made in the 1st campaign.
They are the simplest with builds and some of the best with PvP.
Easy to start, great at the end. Then you can start observing other people
and see what classes you like

If you wish to make a Dervish, most people use a different secondary...Like Dervish/Warrior, Dervish Ranger, or Dervish/Paragon for the different weapon skills obtained. Very early on in Night Fall you will obtain the monk Hero Dunkoro who will travel with you and heal you sufficiently so the Monk secondary is not in wise use with the Dervish or Paragon (Night Fall-Only Professions)

Alot do play Guildwars still ofcourse. And yes Derv/Mo is a pretty easy and good start. Make sure to watch all the cutscenes to understand the game. Hope you enjoy the game
