I'm a big fan of changing customisation as well. I like Mass Effect for that, even though the guns and armour seem to be only reskins of the same core modular design. I can live with that really.

I hear that Demon's Souls (for the PS3) has pretty good customisation and various cool armour sets/weapons.

Well actually its normally that the weapons change but the armours dont. I hate seeing the same models for the whole game !

To add to the thread Star Ocean 3 although the armours dont change the weapons do and the changed weapon shows up in cutscenes which is awesome.

I was kinda looking for old games though lol loving the customization in Fallout 3 atm though thats to be expected of all their games.

leathel: I love the various armour/weapons in Fallout 3. I think it's one of the best games for customisation in that respect.

If people are unsure what i mean. Take finalfantasy 7 or 8 for example when i get a new weapon i can actually see the new weapon when im fighting not the same old weapon they had from level 1. Although in both their cases their armours do not change

yeah, the never ending wave of those guys, i think i was under level when i did that...

All the shining force games, armour and weapons change looks, it was awesome.

City of Heroes. You can do missions to unlock new swords, costume pieces, auras and capes.

I second this. I loved Radiata Stories, and the fact that the protagonist's appearance changed frequently helped that.

See i wouldnt have cared if i could blindside their attacks but the range attacks are frickin huge so you get hit no matter what....

OOOH lol totally forgot about that, I just got to that point before I returned the game (rented it) That's when the one guy's a little ***** and cries and runs off and you get someone better. Yeah that part definitely sucked.
