Just watched episode 7, and i'm extremely disappointed at how they handled Jessica and Kanon. Her school scene lasted about sixty seconds, and SHE DIDN'T EVEN SING TSURUPETTAN.

Yeah I was surprised at that too. I don't mind at the scene's length, there was no reason to make it longer. I'm guessing they had some sort of copyright issue with Tsurupettan or something?

Yeah... the end of Episode 2 was pretty creepy. The song didn't help either.

The game is 1.9 GB. And that for one VN Episode. People estimate its going to take a half year to translate ~.~
Well, The level of Kanji is the same as in Episode 4. So shouldnt be that a big problem for me.

Well, they pretty much completely removed the prelude to her school festivities (I believe shannon talked to kanon about it in the novel, and jessica did too) and it just seemed awkward to me that jessica and kanon were both suddenly at school with no prior explanation (although a minor explanation was included later).

I guess I'm still getting bugged by the way they're compressing the novel scenes, but it's just how the anime will have to be, so I'll stop b.itching about it.

Anyway, the preview to episode 8 looks really good, and Asmodeus' entrance at the end got me really excited!

Well, let's see.
Episode 1 was compressed into 5 anime episodes.
If we assume that every other episode will be compressed the same way, the first season would consist of 20 episodes. If I remember correctly, they added a new story arc to the Higurashi anime, so they might do the same here and we would have a first season of 26 episodes.

I guess they are just following Higurashi's steps.
