Does anyone know of any pc RPGs which play like the baldurs gate dark alliance but obviously over the internet so i can play with a friend?

Neverwinter Nights 1 and 2 is pretty similar to Baldurs gate and you can play with other people online as well as create your own dungeons to play with friends.

Agitator, Neverwinter Nights is nothing like Baldurs Gate DARK ALLIANCE
Diablo 2 would play just like Dark Alliance though. As would Titan Quest, those are probably the best dungeon crawlers out there IMO.

Along with the previous post, I'd say Dungeon Siege is also a series worthwhile to check out.

Though I think only Dungeon Siege II has multiplayer support.

Dungeon Siege I has multiplayer support, too.

I personally liked Dungeon Siege II, better storyline, and gameplay.
I don't recall if the two storylines are tied in, so you might want to check into that, if story is a major factor to you.

A little bit of love here for Titan Quest, that's a similar kind of thing, along with Dungeon Siege 1 and 2 of course. Neverwinter Nights 2 is definitely closer to a more in-depth RPG I'd say. If you're after quick-fix mp action...then these and of course...

Sacred (not so much 2) and its expansion.

I'd say diablo 2 since I had more fun than NWN because it's a lame *** game that your weapon misses all the time.
