recon seems really crappy. they die in 1 shot while other classes can take a beating and dish it out too. obviously they would become a bit better when you learn the maps and are not forced to confront the others head on all the time(or getting ambushed...no chance as recon when that happens).

If it's tactical even better, gets people to play as teams and the ones that try to go rambo shot down real quick.

And you aren't. That's where the invisibility and the recon only paths come into play I guess. But I'll only be able to really make a judgement after I play, so I'll save it for then.

assault gets invis too. the most popular class can see right through it.

the rounds need to last a lot longer too. you can barely even promote to the next rank to get tier 2 weapons.

Yes, indeed. The vision modes render it quite useless I guess. I'll probably play as a recon just for the added challenge.

Is it worth waiting for the DL? How does it compare to other popular shooters like CS and TF2? What I'm trying to ask is, is there anything special about this mod that will make me want to play it if I already own some good fps games?
