Looking for a simple anime where a person(s), gets a power, not like naruto where has the power, but more like bleach he almost dies and then gets a new power.

So any tips?

Watched one piece, death note, busou renkin.

Reborn (I think? Probably?)
Black God

Manga: Yeah, you asked for anime, but this would be a fairly short(er) list without more.

Kurogane
Ubel Blatt
Togari (eh... somewhat)
World Embryo (By the Chrono Crusade author, nigh impossible to find though)
Aflame Inferno

I feel like I'm missing a really, really obvious series.

Watched reborn till latest, black god didn't really interest me, and yu yu hakusho is only dubbed (far as i know).

Any others?

Ops ya watched it ... :P

Shakugan no Shana , fate/stay night , kaze no stigma well kaze no stigma isn't about a main protogonists death and then he is revived and gets power but the main protogonist never had power but he was born in fire users family and he was banished from the family he went to live overseas and his girl was killed in front of his eyes ... than he obtained powers i wouldn't say which powers or how he obtained but its really cool anime when he comes back to the famili which banished him ...

Hellsing
Trigun (he doesnt really get the power he has it but finds out later)
