So I was just wondering about the uncle mostly. I can understand the feelings about the cousin, did they not offer a ceremony and/or party for you guys to go to as well?

Alot of members that I know have gotten married in the Temple, and right after the Temple ceremony they made another ceremony at the actual chapel for the others, then a party for everyone. I already explained the reason why not everyone is allowed in there at my last post so I'll just say something small and briefly. You think it's just also members of the church that are allowed in there, but there are some members that are not allowed due to their way of living to make it more specific. Yes you do have to be a member to actually go in the Temple, but before you ever step in there you have to be interviewed by the bishop or a high leader of the church, because you need to be a pure person, not perfect, but the type of person that refrains from wrong doings. We don't know if a certain person that is not from the church is that type of person, or better... Who knows we could be wrong, but this is the way we keep our Temple sacred and a house of the lord. Sandman, I understand what you are trying to say and where you are trying to get. I myself would be mad also if I wouldn't get to see a family wedding because of a reason like this. But this is a way to keep the church organized, keeping the Temple a scared place as it should always be.
