I have currently been playing BF Heroes and I kinda like it. I feel it is getting a little stale though for there are only 4 maps and I pretty much pwn faces repeatedly and it gets boring. My question was really how is TF2 in comparison, I know it seems to have quite a following I am just a little hesitant to spend the money when I am playing a similar free game. What do you guys think? Is it worth the money?

I don't see Team Fortress 2 (You haven't played it). And If you can run COD4 you can run TF2. The reason I'm recommending this is, because it has class updates that give classes new weapons and add different factors to the game. Also there are many gamemodes like Arena, a gamemode similar to Counter-Strike style. Another one is Payload, your objective is to push the cart to the designated point. CTF is also another one, a common mode, but still fun. Payload Race is a new one. It consists of both of the team (Red and Blu) to fight while pushing their cart to the designated point. There are also many different classes to suit your play style. If you like being stealthy and like to see people dieing fast under your hand, play the spy, but he's hard for beginners to master. If you want to be a tank and shred people away, you can be the heavy. He has a minigun and is the class with most health, easy to play, but proned to being backstabbed. Another easy class is the Engineer. You can make sentries/dispensers to heal/give ammo to teammates. Although watch out for spies as they'll try to make you extincted.I'm not going to go in to all of the classes (Scout, Demoman, Heavy, Pyro, Sniper, Spy, Engineer, Soldier, Medic)
Also the game has RPG elements if you are into it. You can gain new items randomly. There are rare items in the form of hats. Like an example is the pyro's hat. The beanie. There are also weapons that have different levels, but I haven't seen a difference between them yet. There's also some servers with nice people who'll help beginners. To sum it up in a nutshell, Team Fortress 2 is a fun game that'll last you forever. Look at me, I bought the game on the first day it came out with Orange Box and I thought it would last me only for a couple of weeks. But I still play it today from when it first got released. A great game truly indeed...

I prefer both, and you might as well try BF Heroes since it's free. And TF2 is a pretty solid game.
