In regards to Maple Story clone comments:

MapleStory is a great game that helped pioneer the F2P space, capturing an audience that many overlooked. At the same time, we know that there are those who simply view WonderKing as a clone because of its similarities to MapleStory. Both games fall in the same genre, so similarities are inevitable. Does this make every game in the same genre a clone of its predecessor? No, of course not, since the slightest difference in game mechanics can make a different game. Even double jumping (which players can do in WonderKing) can change the way a game plays. And again, we've been in this business for awhile now and 2D gaming has always been our specialty, so we think WonderKing will be able to stand on its own two feet.

Come on now, if they really think double jumping is enough to make a game stand apart, they are seriously delusional lol.

You could say the same thing about having the ability to jump in a fps. "Come on, its only a little hop into the air...how much could that add to the game?"

^There's a difference between jumping, not jumping, while with double jumping and jumping. no.

Double Jumping is nice, but it's uneeded because you can get to most places with just a jump, while if you couldn't jump at all, it'd be **** getting around. Anyways I don't really care anymore, as soon as the game is released from CB all or a good 70~80% of you will quit it and start talking about how boring it is, or stand on the border defending it, but not playing it at all.

That's wrong. You know it. Double Jumping is important for both the Combat and general getting around in Wonder King. The Dungeons, the enemies; all require swift and precise timing and movement. This certainly includes double jumping, dashing and back dodging.

None of the monsters used "hax ninjar moves!!!11!!" to fight me, at most I only used double jump to jump over mobs if they had gotten too close.
