Which campaign of guild wars should I begin with? And also any tips on what profession to choose?
I’ve never played guild wars before and I wonder which campaign should I start as my first game? Also, any recommendations for professions and tips for a noob like me?

if your playing for the storyline, i would say prophecies. if your just trying to level quickly, go for factions or nightfall.

as for classes, well i would suggest a warrior, good HP and defence, and well they are a pain to deal with in pvp.

see if u can find the trilogy, u can get it pretty cheap nowadays, and its good to know u have all 3 cause you're not restricted on skills or content and you also have access to the other character classes that are unique to their campaign. Make sure you also get the eotn expansion, its a good expansion with a whole new campaign, new heroes and skills.

The entire game can occupy your time for quite awhile and its a good investment since its f2p and u can leave and come back anytime u want.

If you are new, prophecies is the best. Pre-searing is the best way to start the game [you'll understand in-game]

Having played through all 3 campaigns PLUS the EoTN Expansion, I have opinions about this. Please understand that this is my opinion and may not agree with others.

Prophecies:
Takes a long time to finish
Missions are very easy, but long
You can take the time to learn all aspects of game play with no rush
It has "Pre-Searing" (an extensive tutorial area that some never leave

)
Tyria (it's continent) is huge

Night Fall:
Medium in length
Missions are of medium difficulty
It has Hero Companions to help you fight
Elona (it's continent) is large

Factions:
Short in length
Missions are very difficult, timed, but short
Cantha (it's continent) is small

For a new person starting out, I would say Prophecies for all of the above-mentioned reasons.
