Why do people care if this is a "clone"? Stop posting in the thread. The thread was for hyping of Wonderking, a game that adds dashing and combos etc. This isn't MAPLE STORY, otherwise it wouldn't have been around too long in Korea or Japan, due to legal rights. Sooo obviously it's quite a bit different eh?

People need to stop complaining in ONRPG, it's sad. If you don't like a game, you don't have to play it...it's amazing.

Azn_King, what makes it different from Maple Story is the fact that it has faster levelling times, less grind, focus on creation of items, bosses every 20 levels or so, dashing, combos, streamlined animations, better skill graphics, mounts of all sorts, pets that actually damage enemies and pickup items without having to purchase tons of cashshop items to enable this, etc.

If you really have to ask, why not just google Wonderking Features. It's quick, simple, and efficient...well at least easier than complaining in a thread on ONRPG. :\

so much drama...if u ask why ppl like thsi game politely its all good..but if u come here n flame THIS GAME SUX WHY U PLYING IT MS COPY BLAH BLAh...ur gonna get flamed simple as that..we dont want that hear ..if u live off drama go 2 highschool again..grow up n just stick 2 threads u can post positive stuff in..

i dun get it, why do ppl hate maple clones so much? is it coz of graphics or the gameplay? coz if its the gameplay, then wk seems better as far as i can see. If nexon doesnt do anything about it...then why not let the maple clone do the job? give it a chance zz.

i think this is how games improve anyways...by adopting good bits from already existing games + their own extra ideas to improve/surpass an existing game.

Clone or not, if this game's successful, it has to have SOMETHING going for it...I mean in my eyes [and based on what I've played so far], it does resemble Maplestory, but it's bound to happen with 2D sidescrollers, just like Aion and Runes of Magic [I've heard] are WoW clones...and whoever doesn't like this game, fine. If it's too overhyped, fine. But let the people that look forward enjoy it. I'm tired of all these 'ohmigod, look at all the hype, it's gonna suck so bad...' posts, I mean really...[5 in the morn, if it don't make no sense, I'm sorry...]

*pulls out fire extinguisher*

ppl hate on MS...im one of them..BUT...think about it this way...that mmorpg has been going strong and making good money for years now..they must be doing sumthing right...so regardless of my negative thoughts or anyone elses..elements of that game are good and wonderking has taken those elements and added more to it..
