Quick question: Assassin or Knave?

I was positive that I'd be going with a Thief class from when I first saw the game, however I'm torn between the two. And I know it's a preference of Ranged or Melee... but I hate my indecisiveness. Hmm, anyone have anything to say?

My experiences from Maplestory says ranged > melee. In terms of fun.

Watch a few videos and decide which one appealed you the most ?
Or, better yet, since it's Closed Beta, try both~!

Sins look BAD ***. Which is why I am going with sin.
That and the fact that Theif don't have really high Def I would
go ranged.

I played Maplestory crosshanded. where my left hand was on my arrows and my right hand on the space bar/alt :P
