I've had an interview with Ankama and they've told me that Wakfu may show some similarities to Dofus, it is NOT related to it and it will turn out completely differently.

Dofus 2.0 is a newer version of dofus which will contain a massive change in the world of Dofus; Better graphics, more monsters, more places to go etc....

Ontopic:

Dofus is a really great and enjoyable game, especially when you have some friends in the game. It gets boring to do everything on your own, so friends are really recommended

Dofus is definitely a great game worth trying.

There are so many different unique builds and varieties of each class. For example, the strongest stength based character of the game can also do VERY well by being Agi or Intelligence.

This allows the game to have many more different builds that you can create and find out on your own. There are also PLENTY of dungeons that you can run with friends or guilds to get materials for crafting and rare items like Dofuses and equipment.

There is also plenty of PvP Action with the new Headhunter pvp system where you hunt people down (with scrolls that tell you where they are) and kill them for Exp. (This feature can be turned off if you dont' like pvp).

It's a really fun game and if you play on server RUSHU, i can help you out.

instead of wasting time and money on a new dofus game i'd rather publish something like this in N.a, at least the users wont all disappear like in dofus!

yup, surprisingly a nice game. The thing that shocked me is a surprise pk where people can get into your match and kill while you are at it.

its a nice game but same as with chess u get bored of it quick sadly. mostly i dont last longer then 2-4 weeks.

The builds are pretty generic tbh. Each class has about maximum 3 working builds, and everyone ends up being a clone of everybody else. Some more unique builds, one which I played was the water panda, are rather troublesome at the beginning and need a lot of funding. I wouldn't slap "unique" on dofus' character builds.

F2p is limited to one city, and a small training area. How would I say... the f2p doesn't have enough things to be able to play w/o a subscription for a long time. You'll be ok for the first 25-ish lvls, but then you totally hit the glass ceiling and there's nothing else you can do in f2p. P2p gives access to the entire game.
