Aion is alright. It looks beautiful but it just isn't WOW. It's just another knock off of factions fighting each other, light vs dark (Alliance vs Horde), with the exception that you can fight in mid-air, which seems to be a pretty cool concept, but no. It's going to be a game that's probably going to have a good community, but it won't be enough to knock WOW off it's feet.

They used to be, now it's Pallys and the annoyance of Heavy Healers.

+ WoW's PvP is a joke. I don't wanna get raped by this guy with 70k HP in Wintergrasp. There's hardly anything to do in WoW's PvP and it gets boring fast.

Well go on, I love WoW, but now Blizzard has gotten way too greedy and made the game soo freakin easy for it to become more accessible to little kids and very casual gamers.

WoW as a whole has been seen since the expansion as being opened up more and more to the casual population. This may be true but with the recent updates a rift is being clearly created between the casual and more hardcore population. The difference in gear between the top tier arena teams and raids with that of the casuals is clearly noticeable.

Now as to PvP being repetative and boring, that just comes down to what you make of it. The game has evolved a lot and much of the pvp depends on the server you're on. With Area 52, it may be a PVE server but it has a very large and active pvp population. This helps a lot with making the game more interesting because of the level of competition that this creates. Another interesting part of PvP that is comming up hopefully within the mid to end of July is the new battleground. It is fun and interesting event based system that is a cross between Ab and AV.

Oh and just to add to the 70k hp coment, that is one system I have a problem with in the game but balances out pretty quick if you're on a higher population server. If you are really interested in wintersgrasp, try to avoid on off times or transfer if you want to a higher pop server.

Fair enough, I agree, but considering you're talking about recent updates, I wouldn't know anything about them as I quit playing WoW a short while after I got to 80(which was ages ago). After I got to 80, I realised how easy it was to get epics and generally good gear. If you think of Pre-TBC, it was pretty hard to even get good blues, but now, all you do is click on the LFG button, and wait for someone to invite you in a VoA group, which takes a few minutes to complete and the reward is really good epics.

I found WotLK really fun, and when I look back at TBC, I realise TBC was pretty boring and grindy compared to WotLK. As I said, the things that made me quit it is the PvP and how easy it has gotten to obtain epics. And the fact that it was endgame and I've done most of the stuff in it.

i get angry when people debases games for stupid reasons, out of irrational hate or simply because they are sad they cant pay for it,so they have to ruin the fun for the rest like spoiled brats

this is the list of things i'd admit about Aion:

- bots, admitedly quite a problem in the chinese server, we can only pray it wont repeat in the NA/USA

- asian feel, for some people this makes or breaks it. and i was one of those,so i cant complain

- lack of original features, its true, Aion focused on the same old things we all are used to and it does them well, but its far from being the new revolution of gaming.some people looks for originality, for games that breaks the mold. Aion isnt one of those.

- lack of content, its true that Aion dont have OMFG amounts of content. i can argue that the game is still very new and with time it will have a damn lot of content, but being nitpicky its true, right now, it doesnt have "a lot" of content and many people cares about the "now"

all those i consider valid issues that even i share to a certain degree. if someone raises them i'll agree. and im sure there might be some more

its just that it picks on my nerves when people come here, stops 5 seconds in the thread, posts "grindy" or "bad pvp" and leaves. those brain dead subnormals dont even know wtf they'r talking about, and a lot of newcomers that came here looking for real info about the game will leave misinformed.

calling Aion grindy is calling WoW or WAR grindy. saying Aion's pvp is bad is only admittable if you first say that all other MMORPGs out there have at least, as bad pvp if not worse

You made it all the way to lvl 20 during a limited trial, and justified yourself to rate endgame content.

all your points were baseless assumptions of my game experience with WoW, when i can just as easily assume is bigger than yours. WoW's pvp is bland, boring, and outside of arenas, unrewarding. not to mention that after 5 years its as unbalanced as it has always been. Blizzard epicly failed when it came to give world pvp a meaning, pvp in general a point,and balance classes both in PvE and PvP.and normal people (not fanbois like you) have lil problems in admitting so...you and your kind are the ones that give WoW its bad name

keep spweing bullcrap anyway, it amuses me,and doubt theres one single guy on earth that still dont know how wow's pvp is like anyway, so your falacies will do no harm
