Fortunately, I never experienced anything that's worth mentioning. If my parents came to me upset, I usually knew why, and talked it out.

And BadPCGuy is right--you could've handled the 'Drunk Mother' scenario -alot- better (read: mature) than dumping water on her.

You mentioned confronting the problem, that's right, but, in my opinion, engaging in dialouge in a not-so-dramatic manner would be way more beneficial to both yourself, and your mother...not engaging in things like just ignoring her, and locking doors...

I -assume- you've tried, but based from what you've typed, it doesn't seem like it.

Locking doors / Ignoring doesn't equal "Win" in my opinion.

What the hell is wrong with you? I think you are liying to get attention or something.

Who the **** throws a bucket of water at their mom? While she is drunk? You came out of her for god's sake, she is paying for the electric bill, the water you use to drink, she pays for your food, she paid for more than half the things in your house (maybe it was your dad, but she is still living to give you the life she wants you to have),

And you repay her by throwing a bucket of water at her face?

And it was inside the house so she also has to clean it up?

Congratulations. You owned your mom.

The OP made a post entitled "I just owned my own mom" where she described dumping water on her drunk mother for a "flawless victory

" - she didn't need to come out and say she was cool, that implies it.
