Just the way the game is.....the user face and gameplay seem old to me. Some strange ancient style of gameplay.

ECO needs some modernization.

No it doesn't need "modernization". Whatever that means.

It just needs less grind. Seriously, didn't even get my first active skill and I was already tired of it. Other than that the game is ok-ish. I just wish I didn't have to spend so much time doing the tutorial/exploring town. Slow movement speed + huge towns make me sad.

it's been out in japan since late 06-early 07... and the only thing similiar to RO about it is the stats...youll see when you actually play, otherthan that do not expect any RO feel, and yes, no expectations = no letdowns, only benefits and little pet peeves about gaming.

good thing about possession/party, just possess some one who grinds heavy and sit and watch the exp roll.

Can't wait for the marrionette/botting system. that might make the grind plausable =3=.

And they talk about the botting system doing quest for you... whats the goddamn point of it doing quest for you if you only get 3 quest to do?

Isn't the marionette system already there? I transformed into one, and I saw several people transformed as well. Unless I'm missing something about that system.

I'm still shocked by the fact that I need 50,000 Jerichos Potions in order to have my Airship. I'm starting to think it's one of those "there's another way to get it" quests.

o`o. how'd you turn into a marionette? also I feel as if I picked the wrong class =3=. I'm a bandit or w/e they are, but I feel as if archer would of been better. long range + dex so you hit more, along with that you don't always get close up aggro.

As silly as it sounds Archers mostly use INT, you need about 10 INT in order to become an Archer. D: They do some heavy damage though.

You transform into a Marionette by going to Tiny Island. Go to Uptown, and near the middle there's a bear called Tiny, talk to him and he will warp you to his island. In the island there's a huge red circle on your minimap to the north. Go there and you will find a lot of marionettes standing. Talk to them and they will tell you about their abilities, then you can choose to transform into one.

Archers should be a sub char honestly since they're one of the luxury classes needing arrows and whatnot, and you can also just go to town and talk to Elina to choose one of four marionettes for free, I got mandagora but regret it since I'm a scout, but it's not like it's a perm marionette anyways so ill just wait until i find a more combat oriented one, does that dream island have more choices?

yeah the island has more but you gotta talk to the npc everytime you want to transform, you don't get the actual marionette item

One of the biggest annoyance in this game was the camera angles. You can't make it so you look forward, you are always facing down.
