So basically, I was playing this game (Amazing game) and I got spoiled who the final boss was, turns out the final boss is the main character's brother who was possessed by the bad guy and the brother becomes the embodiment of evil or something...
The main thing of the story was trying to find the lost brother, and now I know what happened to him... (Your supposed to figure this out in Chapter 8, I'm only in Chapter 2....) The only reason why I kept playing this game was because of the amazing story, i don't like the battle system... But I want to finish it but every time I try to play it, it doesn't feel as epic as it was before I got spoiled, I'm so pissed off right now, It was a great game, the same thing happened with the games prequel, I figured out who the final boss was but I got spoiled because of SSBB (super smash bros ![]() SPOILER The names of the games are M3 (the lost brother) and EB (the final boss being Pokey along with Giygas -kinda obvious tho-) End Spoiler I wanna keep playing the games, but I just wanna ask the community something first, Is getting spoiled like that really ruin the story? I mean I dont know why each of the bosses became the bosses, (and that is why I keep playing, just to know what happened), or why the brother became the enbodiment of evil, even thought at the end of the game I wont be like: "WOW, HE is the final boss?! NO WAY", I could still go like "So thats how he ended up being the big bad person" So onrpg, just help me so I can keep playing the game, I want to, but I dont have the motivation, Help me!! TL;DR: Got spoiled, Is a very good story good even if it is spoiled or not? CHANGED GAME NAMES TO ABREVIATONS FOR LESS ACCIDENTAL SPOILER

Depends on how you look at it.
If you're one who doesn't remember these spoilerish things very well, I'd suggest playing through another game slowly, getting into the story, liking the characters, etc, to get your mind off your current game. Then go back and play it again. If you're like me, and remember these things till the end of time, then you're screwed :P. Then again, you still don't know the story of the game, so play for that, instead of playing only to know who the final boss is. |

In Earthbound I wouldn't worry about it much but in games like uhh..Persona 3 and 4? I mean It should have been expected if you got passed the part where it shows him(Don't read past here if you haven't beaten the prologue yet) like behind the mountain

It depends. If the main boss or whoever was the main characters brother and someone told me it was his brother, i would get mad.
If the main boss was just some random evil guy and someone told me this, then i wouldn't care.
