Ran online was the first MMO I ever took the plunge and downloaded. It was a very large file for my shitty computer back then, it practically took up 90% of my computer. I played it with all these very friendly brazillian people. I remember making quite a few friends, but I never realized that they were just questing with me, lawl. I never heard from them again ;_;
Warrock was the second game I tried out, after watching all my friends fork out hundreds of dollars a month to play counter strike at a computer cafe, I felt so righteous finding a free online game to play, lawl. At first, I thought the game was going to be lame, so I didn't try the first cbt, but I got into the second one and it was awesome. Got a few friends of mine to play it, and had a good time. Sadly, though, its wracked with hackers and lag, plus the new graphics make my computer blue screen of death ;_; Team Revoluxion was a game that should've never died. It was the first and only racing game I have ever enjoyed. Theres only one video of it on youtube. That shows you how brief it even existed. I really wish the game would come back, it was SO much fun.

Everquest, raiding a boss while having an rival guild trying to kill it too, not to mention the customization you get later in.

I don't really spend much time on Mabinogi now (well...barely any), but I still keep it in my computer coz it's full of memory to me.
It's not my first mmorpg, not the most interesting or complicated one, but I've met a group of nice friends on Mabinogi. (some of them are still playing mabi, some already quit...) We shared our lives and chatted about anything. One of them later on became my boyfriend. (surprisly, his place was not far from my town, tho he moved few months ago...) But it didn't work out...we broke up in April. Now when I login Mabinogi, I see my past and memory everywhere. T_T |

My first and favourite is conquer online, it give me a special and irreplaceable feeling. You know why? Cause I met the first and only one game hubby from it.
He is cool, humorous, kind and so fun to talk to. Once I log in conquer, the first thing is to search his name from my friend list to check he is online or not. I like to talk to him and share what is new to me. Without him, I may not so addicted in this game. well, he seldom play this game now cause he has stomach problem. I miss that period when we just met each other, got married, played game together and kept talking to each other. Best wishes to him and his families. I will never forget conquer and him.....so many game lovers became real couples finally, and it is so sweet, best wishes to them. |

Runescape Classic was my first MMORPG.
I grew up in a hicksy part of Rhode Island (yes, its possible, in trailer park and all the trappings) and the most upto date computer I had was one that took floppies and was older than I was. Few years later I moved to Florida, enjoyed the rape of hurricanes but also found myself in possession of a Rent-a-center dell computer, with AOL dial-up! Ho boy. At this time I enjoyed the drama of AOL chat rooms and made friends and enjoyed more drama, upon drama, upon drama, which now when I look back on it is extremely painful, however, I eventually was shown Runescape. Man, this game blew my world, never played anything like it and I'd play it with my best online friends and we'd compete to get higher smithing and mining, was crazy, played for like 2 years. I then found Aspereta (now Illutia/Wishrealm) and it then became my obsession, and I still love it but the community (mostly high level) is now populated by veteran assholes with 80ft poles up their asses. Then I whored myself to every game and became a member of onRPG, and became a sad human being who could no longer find the "magic" feeling in games anymore.
