Well you're a PS3 fanboy, hardly much better.

There's no sense in being a fanboy of either. The companies or consoles do not care, they just want your money, essentially.

Buy whatever gives you the most joy and stop making excuses for things if they are disappointing you.

This whole loyalty-to-companies bullcrap needs to end. Seriously.

PSP is good, just a few good games tho , but got both DSi and PSP.. back on topic, PS3 has no hardware malfunctions.. hmm thats good! But each xbox360 gets a free 3 year warranty? Because that could help.. <_<

Yes, the Yellow Light of Death. An issue that comes up sometimes for owners of older systems. I myself have lost a 60GB to said issue that Sony couldn't replace due to it being out of production. I had to get an 80GIG and Uncharted (yuck).

If you take care of your console, it will treat you well. Had a 360 since LAUNCH and hasn't shit out yet(gave it to my friend after I upgraded to an HDMI unit which I had for two years).

Personally, I don't know if it's me but a lot of 360 owners I know detest the PS3's controller so much. Seriously, what's wrong with it? I know it isn't great, but it isn't a piece of shi- either. It's everything your 360 controller is EXCEPT the placement of the left analog stick and the D-Pad. The same L and R buttons, and the select/start/and power buttons are in the same position. The only thing a 360 controller has that is better than a PS3 controller is the trigger buttons.






The perfect controller would be a PS3 controller with 360 trigger buttons, IMO.

I'm not a fanboy, I'd just rather not buy a console if I couldn't buy a PS3.

Is that so fanboyish? D; I mean I can't help it if my bro got a PS when I was like 8. And I loved playing RE and Tekken and other such games. Then I got a PS2 and almost came upon getting one and I've never had any problems with either one. And both of them happening to still be working.

You see...consoles are just a game to you. But for me, its a lifestyle.

Not really though but yeah, I just generally dislike 360s...hell if Wii had a decent game on it other than Brawl I'd totally get one.

I have both and the 360 controller is hands down better than the PS3 controller. It fits the hands better, it doesn't feel as awkward to use the second set of shoulder buttons, and those second shoulder buttons have a better feel to them.

I did hate the original 360 controller though, that thing was trash.

The ps3 controller feels like a ps2 controller, except lighter.... I honestly don't feel a difference. Never touched a 360 controller myself.

Eh, imho fanboys are the worst kind. The are the religious fanatics of consoles. They tell why their console ALWAYS has the best games, it has no faults, and in the end it is ALWAYS going to be the best hands down. They also try to shut out any other "competition" by proclaiming the faults of any other console and not list any pro's at all. To take a bit of info from Nonsue, he is trying to force his "lifestyle" on others rather than laying down a good argument. They often tend to fill their ramblings with lies and over exaggerated examples.

The more reserved people will tell you both the pro's and con's of the console, and possibly even tell you why another console might be a good alternative. Those are the people to listen to in the end. The console fanboys you need to half listen to if you want to make a serious decision.

Now as for the controllers. I think both controllers are fine. I have been using the PS controller ever since the PS1 and I have no problems with it, but at the same time I do like the feel of the 360 controller and love the placement of the left analog. I hardly ever use the D-pad on a PS controller and always use the analog so why not put it where my thumb defaults too, and that is going back to the good old NES days.

But both controllers are good in their own right. I could easily switch between the two and not be phased at all.
