Get a PS3.
You couldn't possibly be well informed about the games on 360 and PS3. PS3 doesn't have a better game library? What??? I don't think there's one 360 exclusive that'd make me want an Xbox.Anyway...First of all if you didn't get a PS3 you'd be regretting it like hell when March comes around and you don't have a PS3 to play GoW 3 unless you happen to be one of the few pansies that don't like the game. Yeah...To start you off which I'm hella sure you don't have enough money to buy all these. You could get. Infamous-Fuxin awesome even though I didn't get to play full version for to long but I do frequently play demo over. Killzone 2-Single player is tha shiz for...a single player FPS...mode anyway and online is pretty good too.Resistance 2- Well...I'd only get for the Co-op which is frikin awesome! Competitive seems too...easy to kill people...it gets annoying when some obviously no skilled *** kills you =/ though if you don't mind you should play it especially since its up to 60 players for competitive. Socom Confrontation- If you like realisticish heavy team based shiz. Which I didn't find to bad after I stopped getting killed all the time for sucking. Little Big Planet- If you like that type of shit, I don't but apparently its good as hell. MGS4- I got bored after MGS2 really...but 4 was pretty fun : D I enjoyed that senior citizen fight at the end alot but yeah...if you own a PS3 you should own a copy of this...for a while at least. Home- No lie...this shit is awesome =/ No matter what anyone says, I haven't bought a shit for it but Its great...ish. Good time waster...played Bowling for quite a while then Poker with some arcadeish racing game inbetween and such. Then the fact that you can walk around in a totally bad *** slow motion way if you can apply the right amount of pressure on stick ![]() Anyhew...thats all that I feel like remebering for the moment as it came off the top of my head. There are also an assload of good PS3 Exclusives coming up. Em...Yeah...So get a PS3. And so far I haven't had any problems with online gaming on PS3 so all of that shit talking is...just what it is...shit talking. And if you like Naruto. Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm is...THE BEST NARUTO GAME EVAR!!!!!!!! I don't even like naruto much but I love this game. I only played the Demo but Valkyria Chronicles was also a pretty good game erm...one of those Strategy...thingies. Like Advanced Wars or Final Fantasy Tactics you know With much better graphics of course.I woulda bought but...I'm hella broke. Infact most of my games were bought upon buying my PS3 or given to me TT_TT BTW Gran Turismo 5 Prologue is like...The Best Looking Racer ever, though without a steering wheel I can't enjoy it. And as I'm broke yah...won't be enjoying for a while ![]() And this is totally personal preference but I rather a PS3 Controller of an Xbox one ANY DAY! Especially how light they are...the regular ones at least lol. I was like shit this is gonna break but I've dropped that ***** hard like 20+ times and its completely fine. I also enjoy playing my games through walls...I dunno if Xbox wireless can do that but yah. Leaving the room never matters much to me once its some hack and slashish thing.

I've owned a PS3 for about 2 years now and I'd say I'm pretty satisfied with it.
To be honest, I was actually losing faith in the PS3's survival this console generation. All of our exclusives were being taking one after another and the fan base was pretty low compared to the other two consoles of this generation. Even though exclusives can be a factor in the "make or breaking" of a console, I don't care as much anymore. I like my console, I have over 20+ games for it. People say there aren't games for the PS3. Sure there are, it's just a good amount of them aren't exclusives. But the exclusives we do have? They are great titles. Ratchet & Clank, Socom, Little Big Planet, Resistance, the ever so still in development HOME, some of you don't like sports games, I know, but MLB The Show, Warhawk, Metal Gear Solid 4, God of War, and most recently inFAMOUS. Sure the 360 has a TON more, I'll admit that, but to me, they don't have that same appeal that PS3 exclusives gave me. Gears of War, great game. One was good, and so was two. Fable was great, but I heard the 2nd one wasn't as good. Halo started to diminish in fun value as the series progressed. One was awesome, two was good, and three just..sucked. I haven't tried the 360's other RPGs like Mass Effect and the one that Square Enix developed. And there's many more other titles I haven't mentioned yet. Norrin, as well as some other 360 supporters are going to get on me for saying this, but I am looking towards "the future" and I think the PS3 will be on top. Sony probably is selling me false hopes. It's just something in me that won't let me just put a company down that has satisfied my gaming life since I was young. Call it loyalty to a company if you want, but the PS1 had it's shine, the PS2 is the best selling console to date, and the PS3, I believe, will follow suite. To answer your question, get a PS3.

There is 2 problems when it goes to it, 1. My dad won't pay for online, let alone buy me the wifi acessory for Xbox... so there goes half of the game library, and 2. I don't have an HDTV for PS3, but other than that I guess I am going for PS3 atm, plus I have researched and seen quite few games that I would love to play, and I may have only played Warhawk on PS3, but if most games are as fun as that, there should be no problem!!! Also, do ppl play Metal Gear Solid 4 online still? If not I may not get it.. <_<

You know... these kinds of things are really simple.
Blueray players are cheap enough to the point where its better to buy one of those than a PS3... So now comes the tough question. What do you do with a console? PLAY GAMES. So look at the game library for the PS3 and the game library for the 360. Whichever consoles has the more games you want to play is the console you should get. People who buy a console just for one game are retards, remember that. Really simple right?

I have like 6 friends waiting to save up enough money for 360 Elites, and 3 others who were diehard PS3 fans until a few months ago, and now want 360s as well.
Sure, Live costs 59.99 for 13 months, but I much prefer Live over PSN. As for game library, that is a laughable joke. Not only does 360 have more enjoyable exclusives, the amount and quality of games available on Arcade far outstrips what is available on PSN. I miss the old Dashboard though D:

I have a 360, but damn I regret not getting a ps3 instead, the PS3 exclusive games are actually worth it, I haven't found many good games yet on the 360 that isn't also on the PS3, you must not only look at the number of games, but also at the quality. Anyway, I suggest you a PS3..

If your father will not pay the yearly fee for live, and you can not come up with a means to get money, then my recommendation of a PS3 is even further. Online console gaming has soared through the roof since it's first appearance on the PS2. The PS3 brings a solid online gaming experience. The servers are hosted by developers themselves. For example, Insomniac (creators of Resistance) has done a great job having servers for players up to 60. There is barely any lag, or frame rate drop. In my time of playing Warhawk, developers Incognito has also done a good job having their own servers. From what I have played, there was no lag in full games of 32. And one extra thing about the community, you barely meet immature, annoying 10-13 year olds online. Not insulting the 360, but when I played CoD, GoW and Halo online there has always been young kids playing it, annoying the hell out of me. From my experience, the majority of PS3 owners are a mature crowd, but that doesn't meet there aren't any annoying people online. Trust me, there are.

Are you kidding me? Games look fantastic on any t.v with the ps3. I have a regular T.V from probably more than 10 years ago, it's a SHARP, and I have my Ps3 hooked up to it. It looks good. Not as good if it were on an HDTV, obviously, but it looks really good.
