Truth be told.. the thing that really most attracts me is the looks.. Xbox360 look is kinda bland.. even with those cool flaceplates from games.. but the PS3.. looks Ginormous, and shinyyyy.. but other than that lol, I hear MGS4 was a great exclusive, and Uncharted 2 is coming out, so I will be getting that at the rate this persuasive thread is going ^.^

I also did forget to mention Uncharted. A great game, indeed. |

Xbox 360 generally has more of a "user-generated-fanbase" which makes their games popular, which makes the expression "xbox has more of a game line-up than ps3" come into play. But, I play PS3 because of the single games that come out for it, be it exclusive or not. They're fun.

All the good games for Xbox are multiplat. Its waste buying it. PS3 can lose exclusives. It doesn't matter. Sony always gets the extra content. Only good exclusive I can think of for Xbox is Halo 3.. and um.. is it worth paying yearly for xbox live for 1 game?
I think not. ![]() Plus I hate Halo, I thought it was boring.. and all my friends returned their games pretty quick, or just stopped playing.

Look at ps3 exclusives and compare them to xbox.. Quote:
Thats not cheap an extra $200 can get you a blu-ray player + gaming console + 2 free games if you buy a bundle from a place like best buy/walmart http://ps3.qj.net/New-Best-Buy-PS3-b.../49/aid/132725 Last edited by fire23150; 07-05-2009 at 07:28 AM. |

I bought a ps3 the first year it was released... not the smartest decision
Don't get me wrong, i love sony's console, its bee lacking in its library of games ever since its launch. If the price ever was the drop any time soon, it might have been smarter for me to buy it then, considering more games had released. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion though. |

I think both consoles are great, both have pretty decent exclusives. Xbox 360 do got a bigger game library, But truth be told most of them are not so great... if your willing to pay for xbox live than you may enjoy it. PS3 may cost alot, but your getting what you payed for. great exclusives, free online, and more great games to come. i would wait for the price to drop more tho if your not planning to buy one anytime soon. Both are great in their own way. It really comes down to what you really want from a console.

I own a ps3 but if your after only gaming and if your wanting to have a real blast online id easily say xbox 360. Yes the WiFi costs more but your paying a lot more for the ps3 anyway. To play online is not much for the 360 and well worth it but if you do get one i really do urge you to get the extended warrenty.
PS3 is great too. Hence why i got one. I personally believe its got a simple menu system and the game library is getting a lot better for it. The reason I got the PS3 is because i dont use it just for gaming. |
