i enjoyed the anime and i hope this one does not give me nightmare like dragonball:evolution(that was truly a scary movie)

I don't know any of these actors, and the Japanese girl's accent is annoying. I will skip this.

I also don't watch animé so there's one more reason to keep my money in my pocket.

That is what I was thinking, but who knows, he might show up. He was my favorite as well... Every time I think of his arm tho I always think about...

At least it's japanese. I've remembered Initial D had turned into a movie around 4 years ago, the main character was played by jay Chou I was not impressed but the whole movie was enjoyable. The most acclaimed movie I watched staring Jay was Secret, It was so epic I cried like a little kid, even the melodious music would make me think that my soul would come out of you.

Well based on the trailer this looks like it's based on the anime movie "blood: the last vampire" not the series "blood+", which where released afterwards and is an alternative universe story.

There is no Haji in the original Blood, so there is no reason to include him if that's the case, nor any of the other blood+ characters.

I think it looks pretty entertaining though going by the trailer. Good effects, and the combat scenes looks pretty amazing too.

I saw an early, unfinished version of the film and I was impressed given that it was based on anime/manga. Though I'm not too surprised given it was directed by french filmmaker Chris Nahon.

Interestingly enough, the actress playing the lead is actually from South Korea(as I recall she learned English for this film) and I believe a lot of the film was shot there or in Hong Kong.

I didn't like the anime. Saya was whinny thoughout the entire show. I got mixed feelings about seeing the live action.

I don't think I have seen a worse trailer.
And why they hell doesn't anyone use guns last time I check they were a lot more effective against sword users.
