No I corrected your mistake, your point is still wrong. He never said the film was low budget, he said it looked like it was. He's absolutely correct, Evolution looked like an F-Grade direct to VHS film from the late 90's

Oh and FYI, 10 million for a film is an extremely low budget.

(However, Saya doesn't use her blood to kill in the movie - Again, I think that's just in blood+, which is after all, just a spin-off.)

Either because they complain about aspects of the concept they know nothing about(such as why a Saya wields a sword and not a gun, seeing as guns are completely useless against the monster, as you need to cut them to pieces for them to loose enough blood to actually die).

Or they complain about a lack of Haji, or Saya being whiny, when in fact non of these have anything to do with "Blood: The last vampire".
Saya in the original work, is a silent, brooding and uncaring killing machine.
Thank you for pointing that out.

I hate how there are too many people who've seen Blood+, but have never gone and watched the original Blood: The Last Vampire. I'm guessing the major issue was that when "Blood The Last Vampire" was first released in the US (and other countries, I assume), it was a subtitled flick, turning many people away. This is a similar case to theatrical versions of "Fearless" (Jet-Lee) and "Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence." Too many people refuse to watch a good movie if it is not in their own language.

Also, one person pointed out the question "Whose the Woman?" She was a school teacher in the movie; although, (been a while since I saw the movie) I thought she only learned Saiya was a vampire by the end of the film, when she found a 100 year old picture of Saya and her family.

I knew but I mentioned disliking Blood+ because other people had mentioned it being good. I'm not too big on live actions either and from what I saw in the preview the other day just looked kinda meh.

I will skip this the anime IMO was dull and about nothing but violence with little to no story line. I got too bored to even bother finishing Blood+. Anime pretty much fails at doing good vampire stories. The only good vampire animes I remember are Vampire Hunter D and Hellsing.

I totally agree, if you're referring to Chiaki Kuriyama.

Wait what?
What!?
WHAT!?

Your description describes Naruto and/or all other shounen animes a lot better than it describes Blood+.
How can you say that there's no storyline?
