I don't see anything wrong with the trailer. Also the monsters in Blood die by her blood. She has this special sword that holds her blood and leaks it in the blade. Thus when she cuts something, they do not just reattach, they are fkd. As for guns they are no way better than swords when you are facing off with monsters. I prefer guns than swords anyday, but they are not better when facing off with something big and mean. When has a gun been able to do anything worth real damage to a beast? The only effective weapons would be the highest powered anti-tank rifles for most things. Also if they get up close, you have nothing to use to defend yourself. Swords allow you to attack AND defend, as well as do more damage. The only advantage a gun would have is range, but it would be weak compared to things like in Blood. Even as a gun lover like myself, I prefer this



Over this anyday if I'm facing monsters like in Blood.



Anti-Tank is one of the few guns that would work, but they are slow firing and have no defence.

I agree, people complaining over this trailer do it for all the wrong reason...
(However, Saya doesn't use her blood to kill in the movie - Again, I think that's just in blood+, which is after all, just a spin-off.)

Either because they complain about aspects of the concept they know nothing about(such as why a Saya wields a sword and not a gun, seeing as guns are completely useless against the monster, as you need to cut them to pieces for them to loose enough blood to actually die).

Or they complain about a lack of Haji, or Saya being whiny, when in fact non of these have anything to do with "Blood: The last vampire".
Saya in the original work, is a silent, brooding and uncaring killing machine.

Jin-Roh just said it was based off Blood+, so I figured it was, and thought a lack of Haji was strange.
I didn't know there was another series before it.

I don't hate you so don't worry It wasn't aimed at anyone in particular, just commenting on the various criticism I've seen both in the youtube comment section, here and on another forum.

It just strikes me as funny that a majority of the people that have seen Blood+ don't seem to know about Blood: The Last Vampire(seeing as it is the original, and if you wiki it or google it, it's the first thing that pops up) and that their complaints about the trailer is how it doesn't resemble Blood+ when it obviously isn't supposed to in the first place.

But I think that if more people knew the source material, they'd actually see that the trailer doesn't look half bad. Still, their pick for Saya, seems a tad bad considering her cuteness factor. Personally, I think I'd rather have used the girl who played in Battle Royal and Kill Bill. Too bad it's so hard to find a young japanese actor, capable of speaking understandable English.
