I am glad I didn't pay for it. Anyways, there are much better games coming out this year, single & multiplayer games, I know my money is going to be spent on both. If they made WAR free and gave you the option to opt-out of PvP, then I'd possibly play, but who knows.

Indeed theres lots of good singleplayer games atm.But no moneys to buy them all ._.

LOTRO's PvE is a gazillion times better than WAR's PvE and P combined. I know that sounds crazy, but it's true.

I enjoyed Wars PvP myself, but I haven't play lotro, so i couldn't tell you which, sorry OP(course you have 2 pages of replies anyways)

rings is pretty good at first, but you start to get bored in the 20's only fighting ai. if you like pvp, warhammer's first 11 levels are better than the entire lotr game.

Well I'm going to have to say WAR. I find no point in playing a p2p MMORPG without PVP.

There's is an "opt-out" for PvP in WAR. It's called, play on a core server. They're non-pvp servers. Which means the only time you flag, will be in the game's designated RVR areas. Which is how it should be. You can just run into an enemy city in WoW and not flag. Why would you expect a game that is built around RvR to be any different?
