WAR has a lot more players, but an absolutely terrible endgame. LOTRO has a smaller playerbase, but the endgame is a lot of fun. So, those are your choices.

I agree:

LotRO = PvE

However, I'd say:

Warhammer = PvPvE

But, go with LotRO, better storyline, bigger community.

most likely if a person is looking forward to buying WAR, its for its pvp content.

i dont see the fun in pve... public quests fails so hard because of the low pop size

WAR had boring PvP and worse PvE.

I only played the trial for WAR, didn't much care for it, primarily because of the PvP and public quests. I don't like PvP at all, so it was no fun when you got flagged for PvP while on a quest. The should have made it an option that lets you opt-out of PvP.

yes comic, i was truly disapointed in wasting 40$ on it.

i was expecting exactly classes and copies from the RTS 40k series..

just think of humans with chainsaw guns, orcs with shoulder rockets..sss *drools*

iinstead, i get this bullshit mirror class system. I have to say though, it was fun for a while (Tier 1 to 2)
