well. i dont mind grinding but often there is little to no low/mid lvl content in games most games focus on the end game, so most of the time you have nothing else to do then grind. so obviously it gets boring. only games i can think of that has low/mid lvl content is silkroad with the trades and wow with the pvp

Seriously, don't judge anger by words. Judge anger by expression.

I play MMOs......and I don't mind grind too much.

I can grind if the grind is smart grinding with repeatable quests and a high drop rate.
But grinding that starts before lvl 30 is grinding I can't stand....and won't deal with.

I'm the same as others. The moment the game forces me to grind 60%+ exp because the company got lazy and decided to stop giving quests for more than one level I stop.

I also don't care when people say "OMG you quit in the boring part! It gets a lot better!" because the way I see it: If a game has a boring "tutorial" (usually levels 1-10 or 1-20) that doesn't keep me interested in the game long enough to get out, theres no point in playing.
That's pretty much how I view things but at the same time, I also realize that if I want to get anywhere in any kind of RPG it usually involves grinding for something. It might be exp, money, drops, quest items or whatever but you will have to grind in one form or another in the long run especially if you want to be able to handle some of the really tough bosses the game has to offer with some sort of ease. Seriously, what MMORPG/RPG isn't like that?

Default YES i have

Ive played almost every mmorpg out there and what ive found is
1) kill mobs
2) Dungeon
3) Some chinese stuff
4) Same ole content

But I dont complain about grind as long as it involes a storyline
eg:
Jade Dynasty
Very nice storyline
large lvl grind from 20 - 30 but its worth it

Grind is part of every games, sometimes it can be fun, other times not so much.

I think what happened is that people play one game for a long tiem and grind, now they look for new game, when tehy start playing, grinding at first levels, they know it gona get harder later. SO they say grinds...

Everygame has the same basic concept, grind, lvl up, grind, lvl up, get new stuff, grind, level up, etc.. you already know what goan happen , taht y grind is boring.

One example for me is Latale. Probably one game that I don't feel the grind that much because of the quests that they give me, sometimes the same ones twice in a row along with the fact that when I'm killing monsters, I can attack 3 at a time. I'm defiantly with you on this kind of grind.

Well if I had to put it out simply, I don't mind the grind itself, I just don't like FEELING the grind.

If I'm having fun while grinding then I wont mind at all, but when I can feel it then it starts to get to me.

People are still going to complain even when they get 0.03% per mob at level 98 when max level is 99. It doesn't really matter, they complain about grind even when the exp is super high like 1% anyway...

^Mygod, I would love that kind of exp on anygame at level 98. .03%permob. Godly.
1% at level 98 is too much. I agree. They complain about anything.
